In your mister fish tank, does your filtration pick up the poop well, or do you have to suction it out while doing water changes?
@tabarakaquatics8067
@tabarakaquatics8067 3 ай бұрын
I sand vac my smaller tank but my larger tanks have wavemakers in them that blows most of the poop and detritus into the water column for the filtration to pull in.

Hey, I was wondering if you think I could keep 1 fire eel, a marbled sleeper goby, and (optionally if you think you have any information or experience with Chinese perch)
@tabarakaquatics8067
@tabarakaquatics8067 5 ай бұрын
@@WafflesAndPancakes-ml4gs I all of those fish, and I certainly would try them together. Sleeper goby and fire eel is no problem because neither one will bother anything that it can’t swallow whole. Chinese Pearch is aggressive but no good in a fight against cichlids. Chinese Pearch will have to be by itself until it gets some size on it to protect itself against other aggressive species, but make sure the pearch can’t fit its takemates in its mouth 😂. The most difficult to feed is the fire eel unless you get a larger one that’s not so finicky. I really loved my sleeper goby and was hurt when my big catfish ate him. Let me know how it works out, I love all of those choices but comparable size is key.

@@tabarakaquatics8067 lol, thanks for responding. I`ve been doing more research and, I`m going to have pvc pipes, and cinderblocks. also lots of plants. the fire eel I already own and am currently growing out, he is peaceful and won`t hurt a fly lol. Also I forgot to mention it`ll be a 210, I will have like 20 guppies for them to hunt on when bored. you think my set up could work??
