I ran sathrovarr in my highlander mage pre ashes and damn that card won me so many games that were close. Never get played now, usually was able to coin it out and zephys 1 cost it with lunas, or renojackson it, and alot of time benefit off the 0 cost dragons from alexstrasa. It added insane value alot of times.

I feel like Deep Freeze is just SOOOOOO slow... maybe would be better if it freezes 2 random enemy targets would be a lot better. I mean, i like the option to freeze face, in this pure aggro meta its very useful, But its an 8 mana investment that only really works if you aren't behind on the board. Still pretty cool card

you don't build a deck around a card like maiev, think of her like zilliax you build a deck that has a win condition in it, and you use maiev to either slow them down or gain tempo for yourself or use her to push through a taunt or something in an agressive deck.

@Arno Gagnon surprisingly, spell mage have a better chance against aggro decks than a highlander mage, I tried that my self especially when you get a good curve and you get lucky with the random drops that you get.

I run two in mine. Two pyroblast works more with a burn mage though. Regis has too many control elements in his deck to make pyroblast worth it. Freeze vs burn mage. I personally like cheating pyronlast with dragoncaster. Thats 20 total damage to the face that your opponent cant just ignore. Also kael'thas works too.
