Just a little tip, playing to much of the song (waiting for the outro to mix out to) on every song can get a little predictable. Mix it up a bit, maybe bring every other tune in at the beginning of the 2nd chorus (drop) or at the end of the 2nd chorus. If you are not line matching or using sync, your mixing (beat matching) is smooth & seamless. Also don't know if you have realised or not, but you are getting USB dropouts (that's what the red flashing light is in the top right hand corner). I get them sometimes it's coz your p.c. is throttling. You seem to be lucky though, when mine does it, i can't play coz the sound is terrible but yours seems to sound ok. Also (don't mean to sound cheeky) but how come your Serato is green? I know Serato lite (i think it's now called) is green, but i thought you only got 4 cue points with Serato lite, but you seem to have 8 there or has it changed? Anyway keep it up & don't get discouraged. You will get there. :)

Many thanks for your tips. The USB dropouts may caused by my slow PC or they come from the small USB buffers I have set in Serato. I am sorry for that. I still have to do some tests with some settings, it depends on used controller and it is sometimes curious. 🤔 The used software here is Serato DJ Lite (green). Yes, in Serato Lite there are only 4 cue points, but I prepare most tracks within Serato DJ Pro (blue) that is able to set 8 cue points and shows the keys etc. With Serato DJ Lite I am able to use only four cue points.

@@BeginnerDJ I had the same mine was so bad i couldn't use use my Denon mc 7000 with serato but i got a fan from amazon to go under my pc & its amazing now, never does it. Best £40. iv'e spent. Keep working at it m8, your getting better each vid. The beat matching & phrase mixing will come with time & practice. I played for 3 yrs, every single day at least 8 hrs a day b4 i was good enough & confident enough to play in clubs (that was on Technics 1210's though & vinyl) If i can help you with anything give me a shout, even though you seem to be doing fine yourself. A year ago I had same issue like you until I realized that the power management in battery only mode of my laptop was throttling the CPU too much to save power. After switching the mode to normal without power saving CPU and USB the system works as it should. And I think that the MC7000 has much more functions than my beginner DJ controllers here. I assume much more USB midi signalling between controller and PC caused by more midi mappings SeratoController.

@@BeginnerDJ Your bang on m8. I changed the same settings & some, but mine still struggled, iv'e had to even have the buffering in Serato to the max, which isn't ideal coz theres a bit to much lag when trying to bring in tune with jog wheel, but with the fan it's been a life saver, iv'e kinda got to a happy medium, where it's usable now. But if i turn the fan off, within about 10-15 mins its un - usable. Anyway thanks for the advice. Keep spinnin geeze! :)

There may other bottlenecks. An old classic HDD with small cache or a nearly full SSD can cause a slow PC too. May the CPU itself since my Core i3 3rd gen. is producing such lags too. If you get better results with additional fan, please check if the cooler of the CPU itself is clean. I do some Dyson cleaning in open PC chassis to clean the cooling fins below the CPU fan. Edit: Sometimes the PC BIOS allows to set the target CPU temperature in hardware settings for CPU fan. May a lower target temp can fix your problem too.
