Can someone explain to me the difference between deep house and drum & bass, sometimes their music sound the same

This is how I think it is - I might have forgotten something. Drum and bass has a faster paced beat (around 165BPM), while Deep house has less BPM (120BPM). There a few things that are iconic for a drum & bass track; such like the "rhythmic percussion" (the drum), the bass, the "breakbeat" ,and, like I said earlier more beats per minute. D&B is a subgenre of Dance, while Deep House is obviously a subgenre of House. Most Deep house tracks are a bit influenced by "jazz" or "Soul" - you'll often find Soul or Jazz samples in these tracks. But there is also something called Garage House or Garage Deep House , which is bit more minimalist. I Guess that's about it. Cheers

drum and bass has a really fast beat. (around 165-185 bpm), deep-house has 100 bpm less, it's really all about the bpm (beats per minute).
