Deep was the first deck I ever built. While I don’t think my version is viable anymore, I always have fond memories of that time I milled myself, or that time I milled myself, or that time I..milled myself Damn I used to never track how many cards I have left

I think Deep as a package is the most complete deck in runeterra. It has damaging pings, kill cards, stun cards, obliterate cards, Life steal, Can go wide and grow huge when deep. You can play for the nautili's level up, Maokai level up, or for fun you can win off treasures. You can also win off drawing an OP sea monster from Jaull hunter. It really can do everything in one so you can adapt it to almost any meta. You could construct it to counter Aggro with lifesteal card, counter midrange with a maokai focus, or beat late game bombers by going deep and reaching your late game faster. I love deep, I cant wait to see more sea monsters in the future or other toss mechinic card.

I like the deck guide but I feel like at least one atrocity is a must in this deck as a last resort finisher as deep game plan leaves you with very beefy units with big attack stats but no overwhelm and and its very easy to slip up a win just because of seamonsters and naut easily being chump blocked.

deep is always fun to play, in my version i always put marai great mother so when maokai lvl up/ deep i can put some value RnG spell in my deck. hey snnuy have you try building deck with norra, bandle tree and warden of the tribes? btw i love your content man keep it up

As a deep player i think maokai isnt really mach up with nautilus, and trying to lvling up the maokai is wrong play because its lead to not play your late game firepowers (sea monsters) which is lead to self mil your deck, i play mono nautilus at first i play mushroom boi and Prawn 🦐 thing and life steal toss 3 unit as you mentioned and when you deep first thing is kill your 🦐 unit because its milling you then not play toss cards and play sea monsters as you can

Hey snnuy it’ll be great if you can do a video on lurk deck. It’s you who got me into that archetype and it became my favorite real quick and I was able to reach master with it. The last sereaphine meta (I know she got nerfed) really burnt me out and caused me to kinda loosing the passion of the game. So it’ll be really great if you can do a lurk deck. I just wish it had a card like dropboarder. A cheap deep unit that can actually allow toss to give you some value in case you toss all your good units. Maybe a 4 mana 2/2 with Deep and "When I'm Tossed, Summon (or draw) me"?

The thing with deep is that the toss cards have less value the longer the game goes, so you if you want to play it like a control deck you need more stuff to give you gas not extra tosses lol I’ve never liked jettison for exactly this reason

You should try targon kayn with soraka and 2-3 dragons. I find it pretty fun with the lategame powerspike and lifesteal

last time I tried making deep work I did a 2-tf 1-maokai split. He's just been so pathetic since quietus, and the champ spell is so bad that I'd rather just toss to the one copy for the matchups want it.

Personally, I don't think you need it. Abyssal draws cards but you can't attack with it later as you may end up dying by drawing all your cards. You get deep quickly with scarabs and stuff, so AE may end up drawing your deck before Mao levels.
