He has such a broad appeal with many of his lyrics being so relatable and often hard hitting. I have commented on other reactors channels that it would not surprise me at all if this period of music came to be known as "the Ren years". Nice to meet a fellow Scot. "Lang may yer lum reek".

The opening is 1 Timothy 6:6-10. The key part of that passage about money is "the love of money". Like he says- money saves lives ,takes lives, money, both. The key is to have balance, humanity, and empathy.

Great reaction guys, as musicians as well i love how you each focus on different aspects of rens music, as your channel evolves i think it would be cool to run the track twice you both have inputs on lyrics and meaning, and then run it a second time (or even just cut key points) and talk about the artistry/cinematography etc as you have great points about both sides, it might just improve a general flow of the reaction. Loving your reactions either way, keep pushing guys!

I've said it other reactions, and I will say it again; I Believe Ren is a Prophet. Like Prophets of old, Ren was challenged by "Our Creator" with illness and suffering to test his worthiness to bring "HIS WORD"; Ren has proven his worthiness. He speaks/sings 'Truth', bringing messages that 'Mankind' NEEDS to hear. In the song "Sound of Silence", there is a verse where they say, "The Words of the Prophets are Written on the Subway Walls, and Tenement Halls"; Ren brings the 'Word' through his music. God Bless!

This is my first time on your channel fellas. When he’s talking about his sister, and he says the world has a way of chipping away at your shoulder. It’s got that wordplay of having a chip on your shoulder. He’s the worst my extra extraordinaire and then the visuals, and all the planning and everything that he puts into it is what makes him the best artist going today and my opinion as an independent artist without the financial backing of these monster companies is really something to be sad about his work ethic and artistic genius. Don’t apologize for talking about the musical production. Most reactors spend too much time taking about the lyrics and meaning because they don’t have the ear to dissect the most important aspect of music videos …the music!

Ren basically is his own engineer and producer, and musician, writer, singer etc. If he could hold the camera he'd be doing that too because on some of the BTS video's he's working out shots, deciding angles etc. Basically, he's the full package. It's actually a bit disconcerting how good he is at all of it - it's what happens when natural talent meets decades of practice.

While this is true on most tracks this track he worked with Nayz as the producer. Nayz had a similar encounter with Kujo Beats. So Ren is also showing the world the alternate path the Kujo Beats situation could have gone with this wonderful track. In an alternate timeline this could have been the 50/50 song Ren had proposed. So I feel it’s important to give the proper credit to Nayz for his work and path to get here.
