I can't comment either way on the actual mixing (sounded fine to me tbh) but i was hearing amazing tracks on the early mixes. e.g. Einox - Monk (Skóll Remix) was on mix 1 i think. I've discovered multiple tracks from mix 11 too (that's a scorcher). Love the tone anyway that Dub Element creates

@@pepperparkffmI know what you mean, but the first part you posted simply has a 16t ARP bassline with a lot of sidechain and delay, it lacks most of the elements that would make it a psytrance track, such as the typical short tremolo hats, a distinctive snare drum, and generally that typical psytrance structure, which is always the same, beginning with a gentle pad and some melody, middle part with a break and the end, where everything comes at once, pad, melody tracks, all drums, big open high hat etc. The typical build up is also missing. In my opinion there are a lot of elements missing. But that's just my opinion :) the different genres flow seamlessly into one another, we've probably had enough of both, depending on how you look at it. Personally, I would agree with you and also disagree. For me it would definitely be the better trance 🙂
