Nice stuff! Love that song and the drumming that goes with it. Ian is epic.

That was righteous bro. The comment below is bang out of order. Awesome work. Very relaxed, very musical. Such a great example of Ian's silky, funky and complax grooves. One of my fav DP tracks. You nailed it. Thanks!!

You fantastically illustrate the complexity of Ian's drumming, the light subtleties of his fills and rolls, bravo, well done my friend (from a fellow drummer too)!!

I've seen a lot of "cover solos" on KZbin. I'm a Deep Purple and Rainbow fan from way back. Usually musicians are somewhat behind the curve in emulating and replicating the songs they cover. But you nailed it. So much skill and feeling. Just great to listen to.

Luckily Christopher Walken didn't produce this song. "We Need More Cowbell" :-). But great to see your drumming here!
@toddvandell856 жыл бұрын
Not bad. You didn't switch back to the cowbell when Ian did. You stayed on the hats too long. You got the cymbal catches pretty well. And your technique was pretty good over all. Don't recall that Ian ever used a China boy crash but it was an interesting addition anyway. :-) Obviously it was a Paiste, which Ian endorsed for years. Ian switched from Ludwig to Pearl drums but he does still play Paiste cymbals to this day. Not too bad, dood. Switch back to the cowbell earlier next time around and you pretty much would have nailed it.
