Just a few changes since upload to keep in-mind (the downside of video tutorials): - All the tools mentioned can be found here (as well as in the DRG Modding discord, but the tools zip is deprecated): drg-modding.github.io/docs/tools/basic-tools - The all-assets branch on the Audio Modding Template Github has changed, in that you first need to download the Audio.zip file from the releases page (on the right side of the page) before downloading the zip of the all-assets branch. Follow the new instructions in the README as usual. - The content in the all-assets branch on the template now contains all uncooked files meaning you can actually hear the audio directly from the game's sound waves

I think you're getting a bit confused with game engines there :) There is a little drop-down on the engine install button on the epic games store. You must use 4.27.2 otherwise your mod won't work.

I tried to change the shotgun sound for engi but in Fmaodel it doesnt have a class. When i try it ingame it makes no shoting sounds at all

For some reason all of the music classes cause the music to be mute. Do you know what might cause this?

I've managed to publish my PT-BR dub mod thanks to this, it's currently at 1700 speech lines dubbed out of 4440 (ouch), thanks a lot. I'm new to UE4, do you happen to know if it's also viable to modify the game's localized text or any tutorials on this for DRG? I know there's Content/[...]/pt-BR/Game.locres on my unpacked files but that's such an absurdly obscure format I feel like there would be a lot of BS involved to edit it.

​@@Buckminsterfullerene02 In the end, I tried 3-4 different locres tools but none of them managed to load DRG's locres at all, but maybe I did something wrong (I did search DRG's modding discord, etc). I don't know if I should even keep bothering you with this, so feel free to not even answer this if you're busy with something else or just don't have the patience and it's all good. If not, is it ok if I poke you on Discord to elaborate about it?

Thanks for the guide. When i create a jukebox mod like in the guide will it be synchronized for all the players so that the same song is playing for all the people in the lobby of course if they have the same mod installed

Sorry if this seems a little impatient, but does this video also cover replacing music for DRG? I tried replacing the boss music but I'm stuck at which uasset files to use.

I recorded some audio in WhatsApp and downloaded it in .ogg format and when I try to import it UE keeps saying "Unrecognized sound format 'ogg' in Dwarf_Depositing_02nd_Round_01". Can't find anything useful about it on google, and half of the people say importing OGG works, the other half says only 16 bit pcm WAV works for them at 20x the file size... There's no UE documentation on this, their doc page isn't helpful, and no signs of how to make my ogg file work... That's my first experience with UE and this already feels like extreme BS and I can't fix it Had to make my file go from 7kb to a 286kb WAV... 41x the file size + the wasted time for each file

That's UE for you, lots of tomfoolery. I've had similar experiences where ogg works but wav doesn't and vice versa, but it probably depends on some special sub formats of the two types. So maybe the ogg file recorded through WhatsApp has some modifications that UE doesn't recognise. Try converting your audio to .wav using some online converter, there are plenty out there. @@Buckminsterfullerene02 Yeah, I edited the comment to mention I used a wav converter, but it did make the file 41x bigger I also downloaded Audacity, let's see if it generates "UE-valid .ogg files" (even typing this sounds so ridiculous) Also thanks for the quick answer

@@BrianSantosF yeah wav files are larger, though usually by 10x from normal ogg files. Maybe your WhatsApp ogg files are super low nitrate or something. No problem I'm looking around stolen items in the British museum and waiting for the missus to look at things haha
