It’s pretty much just clicking “manage mods” in the modding tab, signing in with steam, and then clicking subscribe on the mods you want. These mods only help you with your local performance / framerate issues. These will not *directly* help you with network issues and rubberbanding, which is widespread right now. the bubbly yellow part below the spike is their weakness, you can shoot them down 1 by 1, but if you have an AOE or Blowthrough, you can shoot at the base of the spike. Rock and Roll and Stone!

It happened to me once with friends, once solo. Solo one was super weird, I passed through the ground but landed in a sealed-with-dirt cave bellow. That is how I know bosco and molly can go through walls if needed.

Thankfully, on my Xbox, the only lag spikes I get is from a new player joining a match, otherwise it runs fine

For those wondering it runs almost flawlessly on Steam Deck except when looking at Rockpox which is still playable.

What is your definition of flawless? Is this native display or with an external display? With an external display i get 15 to 30 fps and setting on med/low.

@knorks3986 weird. Try Uninstalling and reinstalling? I get a pretty consistent 50-60 frames both on native display and on my external monitor, again on high graphics. It could actually run ultra if I wanted to but I decide to conserve battery instead

There are a bunch of mods that can help aswell like the remove old flares, faster vanishing corpes or no corpses, remove trash (this mods removes the mags and other things like the flares of the scout on the walls. All of this can make the game run smooth

Theres no way. my gt 1030 and g 4400(which can't run witcher 3) are running the game mostly fine. I also enjoy it on xbox series s, where it runs amazingly.

Something I experienced, there is a bug that causes massive frame lag if your PC is set to use your GPU only, and it doesn't go away unless it's set your computer to switch between integrated and GPU graphics, if it helps any I was using an NVIDIA gtx3060

I'm just using IGPU, max texture, no shadow, rest is medium or high, got around 30fps - 40fps on average, lowest dip to 14fps when 4 engies nuke at the same time

Anything that only touches lithophage, I have no problem with anything else but getting 2 frames while hosting if I lithofoam a lot is untolerable

Install shadows mod. See only a black screen for 15 seconds when joining in the middle of a mission while my poor gpu tries to calculate all the lighting and shadows

I currently play with a 1050 which is the 2gb model. It doesnt run awful except it does reguarly go between 40-50 with large hords. This might be game breaking for some but the gameplay makes up for the performance imo.

It's peer to peer connection. There aren't any servers. You're just connecting to somebody else's internet connection. Sucks. My advice is to host or play solo. Otherwise, this game plays like shit. You need a minimum of 40 ping for it to feel smooth.

Just get a series x. 4 players, haz 5, multiple detonators, tyrant weeds plus a dreadnought, mactera plague and swArmageddon. All of these types of missions never strained my Xbox and its frame rate. 500$ easy

Most of the game is OK for my potato to run. I even hosted for two cousins with no major issues. But rockpox, the red glyphid infector shit, some lights of the rival tech and sometimes the landscape lights in the rig 17... These things make me essentially blind. Probably the machine is having problems with particular textures and light effects. . I like to joke my dwarf is epileptic.

If you connect to someone else, your ping is mainly based on the host’s distance from you and their internet connection.

If you have a performance issues with DRG, your PC is just crap. It’s actually quite well optimized and even runs on a Steam Deck. You can easily get 200+ FPS on 4k with a modern Pc.
