I reckon they only fuck with each other a lot if they don't really like a game. At least at first. And they only joke about your previous fuck ups later in the series if there is one. Ever notice that? It's especially noticeable in the ARK and 7 Days To DIe series with all of them. Early on, they're always joking or even sometimes complaining about fuck ups, but later on, they're mainly focused on the task at hand, but still joking. I guess it's their own way of getting used to a game.

@@cheeseknees9606 the reason is glare. If it's in the ceiling, it'll light the room and you'll avoid looking directly at the glare. If it's in the ground, it shares the same plane as everything else we look at... And clutters up said plane with glare.

For first entering a room, clearing leeches and getting minerals yeah flares go on the ceiling. However some rooms such as in sandblasted or dense bio are so huge that if you put the flare on the ceiling it just doesn't reach the ground meaning you still are in darkness, so it pays to put it on the ground or mid height

Thank you for playing this game! It is so good. Keep doing content like this, 2 - 4 of you playing a game and the other people backseat gaming. You could add a little bit of editing magic to it and make something similar to one of your survival series, but its own hybrid version.

@Neebs Gaming The rest crystals are Nitra (basically stuff to 3d print extra gear and whatnot) and it is found along the walls. However a similar red crystal is the redspice which heals you and juts out of the ground in a spike, seen at the beginning of your second mission. A tip for Simon, as the driller you can easily access anywhere on the map by drilling into the walls and making turns, guided by the map you can drill into the walls, pull a u-turn and dig out to somewhere with high resources that are dangerous for others to reach. Also your drill device has a heat meter, if that % on the right reaches max your drill overheats and is useless while it vents the heat, your drills fuel is on the left arm. Simon your flamethrower deals damage to the Praetorian (the green butt guys) regardless of where you flame them since your flame hits them all over, everyone else has to aim for its butt, you can just generally flame it. A tip for Appsro, you can grapple anywhere, including down to the ground, you shouldn't ever have to deal with falling damage since you can grapple down to the ground and if so take 0 damage. A general tip for the Neebs crew, all your characters level up and it is DEFINITELY worthwhile to do the missions that get you the resources needed to purchase those upgrades. Also grab all the yeast and other drinking stuff you can see because it's useful for the bar, which also will buff you in mission, the bar drinks can be drunk right before going into the mission and you get a longstanding buff from it.

Also the driller's main drill tool cannot dig into resources like gold or nitra, so feel free to clear the area around the materials with the drill and then use your pickaxe.

Ok guys I’mnot expert at this game but I do few hours ;) Gunner (thick) that shield thing that you throw on the ground you can use it to shield a dead dwarf so you can just revive 100 percent of the time. Engineer (Dora) you can upgrade your platforms to take not damage from falling Scout (appsro) that red thing you keep hitting at full Heath (that is not nitra)is red sugar used for refilling your health stop hitting it at full Heath haha Driller (Simon) just be Simon you are doing great … altho your drill keeps heating up if you go crazy on the trigger pay attention to the gun to see there’s a heating meter don’t go 100 percent or it will have to cool down until it can be used again …. N for everyone only call for more ammo when you are about to be or almost done other wise you are just wasting it

Easy tip: the glowing spots or growths on walls/ceilings indicate a rare item or deposit you can excavate that can be put in the mule for extra cash earnings. The mystery ball was one of these.

Also guys. The crystal at 12:03 was healing crystal not resupply stuff they're 2 different things. There's useless crystal. Healing crystal. and The resupply stuff (I can't remember the name) All 3 can be red. The useless crystal can be all kinds of colors including that purple stuff. And if you find anything big you can carry. Deposit it in Molly. If you see any glowing tiny rocks in a small circular area dig in that area you can usually find 1 (I think it's possible to get 2) large gems that are worth a lot. Also Dora you can recall your turrets from anywhere they fly to you.

HELPFUL HINTS: If you see glowing dig there. There is usually a large crystal of rare materials. You’ll see small crystals with a glowing spot in the middle. Listening to Simon wanted to remind you flares slowly reload don’t be afraid to hit F a lot for light. Your flamethrower is great to set them on fire and then switch to pistol Dora if you hold the recall button your turret will return to you from anywhere making it quicker to put down. You also have the best decoy grenade to turn the big guys around to get the weak spot (you found it close to the end but pair it with Simons C4 = yay) Thick….you’re the gunner keep shooting :) Can’t wait for you all to see the upgrade station and make your dwarves your own. So much to learn and have fun with this game. I am so excited you are all playing it. Also love even though it’s a 4 player game you are all there. Can’t wait to see the other missions and secrets you find. Good Mining Gang

As was said above, switching weapons is the same in every FPS since Doom, scroll or #s, I could pick up any FPS and I'd be FAR more surprised if those somehow didn't work. It's also things like the clear as day fire/heat icon on the drill that he thinks is a battery indicator, being unable to look in the corner or on the gun itself and see his ammo/fuel to know how much he has, seeing a bug with giant armor plates and a glowing green weak point and thinking "Lets attack the armor" Simon seems like a great guy and has a fun personality, but I really wish there was just the tiniest bit of critical thinking from him.

@@4x4DemonWithin Don't get me wrong, I never thought Simon was lacking intelligence, I think you're right that in most cases he just tunnel visions to an insane degree, but that's something that can be worked on. If when he had a question, he spent just a second thinking "Maybe there's something directly on my screen that answers this." He'd be a whole lot better off. However, he doesn't do this, he just tunnels in and never has that critical thinking step, and no one in the group calls him on this, so he's not going to get better. People don't get better if they don't know what the problem is.

Considering you guys are relatively new or completely new to the game it went really good despite the problems. The zip-line can be hard to use depending on how the terrain is. The darkness makes it hard to see, but Molly (aka the M.U.L.E.) do leave a trail of green lights behind it when you call for the rocket, along the way to the rocket.

a few tips! the glowing red stuff is red sugar and heals you, Nitra, well you know already, its the darker red stuff that lets you buy supplies, purple stuff usually does nothing, you can use your scanner thingy to see what the material is.

Holy Crap! I never knew you guys were going to play this. It's one of my absolutely favourite games. The Dwarf personality is fleshed out so well here, and it's a chill, but intense and fun game overall. Can't wait to see what you guys do with this! I love this game! The Engineer (Dora) is my fav character. he can upgrade to 2 turrets. Also if you are planning a series you should collect ALL the shiny stuff for upgrading and brewing beers.
