I foresaw the engineers forgetting their turrets from the start. Fun fact, the Unknown Horror shows up on the terrain scanner as a sphere of void that blots out everything behind it. I also like the sounds it makes, it's a cool enemy.

I love the sound it makes too. The bulk detonator sound is just cool asf honestly. My only problem with the unknown horror is that the constant bulk noises from that blots out the bulk noises from other real bulks that spawn lol.

I finished this weeks Elite Deep Dive (the 08/08 one) solo in 1 hour 26 minutes ...the first two stages were pretty easy / manageable but the third stage (which had a Ghost Bulk + Dreadnaught mission) completely destroyed me, so I know the pain the Taylor squad (T-fam?) is feeling. It was just 40 minutes straight of sprinting in a circle to not get caught off guard by the Ghost or the Dreadnaughts. I went down 4 times (3 times due to being sniped by Infectors and random Explody Bugs) and a Bulk Detonator appeared during the last stretch on the way to the drop pod... honestly though it was pretty fun. I wish I could have done the 25/07 one, it looks interesting to say the least. That's why I really want a way to play previous Elite Deep Dives. I'll probably bring a different build to the next one though (since my Engineer is really good at AOE but not single target)... or just play with my Gunner friend (since that's easy mode). Also, I usually listen to Podcasts while playing (since having audio is for noobs) so honestly I lost a lot of respect for James when he turned off his GF experience ASMR.

Yeah last week's EDD was terrible, had a random dreadnought spawn in the first mission, the worst generation in a caretaker I've ever seen, and awful mods (like 3 mactera plague/duck and covers). Glad to have made it out alive. I had like 20+ downs per person or something ridiculous like that.

I want to share about ytd my edd and elim mission, both as scout In a dread fight, half hp, died when grappling, died to stupid engine's rj250 when grappling next to him (knockbacks make grappling weird and doesnt work so you can fall to death holding the grapple), and after finishing off dreadnaught, I noticed me, dread, gunner was on a straight line and I got finished off by gunner In edd, engine used fat boy, on me, twice, double dip And I found out that I can only rest easy with myself being engie and that shooting a teammate right after they speak sth doesnt proc the friendly fire voice, it was really hard not to down the leaf lover a second time (But I still got a good revive/death ratio because it was haunted cave dread fight, and they really like getting shot by plants instead of letting a scout with cryo bolt freeze and kill them, the driller even used colette to unfreeze a barrage infector at some point)
