Me a few mates were trying to do a HAZ-4 Elimination mission yesterday evening. Tried and failed to do it three times. We then all went gunner. There was no longer a dreadnought problem in that area. Gunner truly is THE class of all time

Also if there isn’t a driller but you need to get down a steep cavern tube, shoot one zipline down, hit the wall enough to jump onto the tiny ledge and 180 then shoot again and you’ve now covered lots of land.

this LITERALLY happened to me. he is literally a blast to play and has some of the most enjoyable overclocks in the game. i never really gave him a shot until i wasnt feeling driller one day and went gunner instead. also is one of the less painful classes to use when levelling for the first time

im a gunner main and i never use my zipline unless its like a really long gap, or the end of the mission and im just shooting them around becuase i can :/ it just feels so useless when every class has a tool for movement

​@@nameisnttaylorif your willing to do mods, try out MCR aka massive content revise, use the test branch, it is much more stable, and then go to the depot, go to the gear tab, and turn on everything there, your ziplines get 300 ammo total, 60 angle, and best thing? AMMO CONSUMPTION IS DISTANCE BASED 50 ammo mag, 1 meter = 1 ammo, also allows you to unlock engi platforms and place them flat to how your looking, angles, and put down multiple satchel charges by reloading them, scout gets fire damage on flare gun, a lot of fire damage

I've always noticed in games that people always pick really mobile classes in PvE games and just assume the big gun guys are bad. People constantly attempt to say that Scout is the best class, while I'm playing Bullet Storm Gunner and I melt a third of a dreadnought's HP in one second. Mobility is certainly a problem, but if you know when you should stop shooting, and shoot while mid air then most of Gunner's problems just melt. Only issue is the zipline, that's why I always have the zipline speed upgrade.

Remember, if you're all really fucked, driller digs long tunnel, gunner stares down the entrance. If that's not enough, cluster grenade or leadburster at or near the entrance will make sure nothing gets in

Hey did you know that with the m1000 you can get an extra uncharged shot per magazine for free since if you do 3 charged shots, have 2 ammo left and do one normal shot (in any order) then you still get the charged shot bonus for the 1 ammo remaining

I play Engi with Breach Cutter and Loki rifle and it kicks absolute ass all the time, to the point that I've forgotten my turrets in some missions entirely. Seriously, the Breach Cutter with the right upgrades can put a Praetorian into melee kill range, and 2-3 shot an Oppressor in Haz 3. That's not even including the drone grenade that covers my ass when I'm overwhelmed. Also, there's a cool mod that doesn't change mechanics but actually makes the ceiling Dreadnaught Twin blue, so it's easier to spot the differences in the game! I know some people have trouble with that

@@nameisnttaylor when it comes to barrier turrets, one should just learn from what parts of turrets these barriers are being released, and then avoiding barriers becomes super easy Regular turrets (i don't remember their name in english sry) have this moment when they don't turn before shooting, one can abuse this moment of non-turning to avoid bullets as well

Comparing a max skill player in each class, I would say engi carries the most weight, gunner is the best in tight situations, scout/driller can be game changers but not in straight dps terms. Experienced players normally know how to get past the convenience stuff. 3 engi 1 scout is legendary on killing power. 4 gunners is a breeze on most missions. Scout over driller if you have to choose

Even though the first class I promoted was scout(everything is objectively cooler with grappling hooks), I don't really like that he doesn't have as much firepower and crowd clearing options as other classes, and after 500 hours I find myself constantly gravitating towards gunner(although I still play all the classes and have roughly the same amount of promotions on all of them) because of the best(imho) build variability and the feeling of reassurance because I'm the one with shields, so it's easier for me to clutch in case I play with greenbeards. Oh, and I also like traversing the caves without drills/platforms/grappling, just dash, constant spacebar mashing and power attack saves.

if you're referring to the game, i'd say it's WAY more like left for dead or warhammer vermintide. co-op hoard shooter with customizable loadouts and cosmetics, it's a great game! i'd buy it both on and off sale. matter of fact, it's 67% off on steam right now, putting the game at about $10 which is more than worth it. i've sunk hundreds of hours in it

idk...gunner is almost useless imo not in a "does 0 damage way", but in a, every other class does what he does better way... Drill and platform gun are much more flexible and faster way of traversal Scout with beam shotgun oc and gas zhuks will melt any heavy magma shard oc with clear any swarm with a 1/4 of the juice... the only thing gunner has going for him is safe revives, but tbh, no one should really need to rely on it if their in a good lobby... I'd wager scout is way better at revives, pop a cryo or boomer and rez with immobile enemies, or just kite them away... distraction engie, or spinning death also act as an 'invul' rez... I'd rather have a 2/1/1 comp of any class combination instead...

The fact that many rival enemies are actually weak to melee makes this even funnier. You just need a power attack. I know this because I defeated the care taker with a pickaxe since bosco doesn’t attack it. It was only haz 3, but it still took 2 hours with gunner
