In England I work somewhere they require players to adhere to min and max buyins on every table so if players change table they can only buy in for the max or less and they can't carry their stack over, without any match the stack or half biggest rule in play. So it's like you said. The rationale from the house's perspective is that they want to create a standardised experience on each stakes level so that the size of the game doesn't dramatically increase as the night goes on. If I want to play £1/£1 and the max is £150 and that's what most people are buying in for at the start of the night, that's a small game. But 6 hours later if I bought in after a bunch of people carried big stacks over, the blinds might be the same but the dynamics are totally different and the game ends up playing like one or two stakes levels higher. And that can also be unattractive to inexperienced or new players because that game has gone from being affordable / within their bankroll to a game where everyone can clean out any one who buys in for the max and still be in profit.

I really enjoyed this video . Especially the cash game breakdown at the 7 minute mark

I do put in the beginning where the cash analysis starts so you don’t have to guess where it starts at! Per the recommendation of a previous viewer! Ty for the comment and ty for watching! All my cash game videos have an early spot that tells you when the cash analysis starts!

They are beginning to spread PLO5 at Philly live as well. Seems to be picking up in the NE.

The plo5 games are juicy to start with- but then they end up getting super tight! Play smart! Ty for the comment and ty for watching!

Yeah I could definitely see that. All the action players get busted out. I've been sticking with PLO4. I've traditionally been a holdem player but during the pandemic I was bit by the PLO bug and my win rate and stats are insane at plo4 currently lol so I told myself I was going to focus on primarily PLO this year. I recently bought into a plo4 for 400, and won a $2500 pot In a 5 or 6 way all in. That's never happening in holdem lol. Thanks for the videos

In my town the only plo games that run are PLO5 and they are absolutely bonkers. They will never run regular 4 card because they feel it isn’t as much action. In my experience plo5 has always been crazy action compared to regular plo4.

Where is your town! Most plo5 is super nitty, there are a few home games that are juicy; but I also think that’s because that is partly required at home games! Ty for the comment and ty for watching

On the turn with the nuts 5/6, w a spade draw out their. I’m going broke. Especially given the pot odds and implied odds. Also’ I don’t understand how ppl shove 9/10 high flush: I proceed w caution w backdoor King high flush. I’ve gone broke & seen people lose stacks calling down w K high.

11:30 - You missed some value by not betting there. Against a more conservative player that line of thinking makes sense, but not against the player type you were describing. I have a hard time believing they would take that line with AA/KK or anything with a 3 in it. 13:40 - I have folded the nuts a couple of times on the flop when playing PLO, but that was because I had no redraws, and it was obvious I was getting massively freerolled. However, I can't think of a situation where it would ever be justified on the turn. You'd probably have to have to be very deep with something like J8 on 79TA with two flush draws and nothing that blocks redraws to even consider it.

Good vid - stop filming and driving, you and everyone else does not need that type of distraction on the road. Bad habit in content creation culture that has an easy remedy.
