NOTE: If one of your hexes is decimated, remove any archaea from the hex and keep half, rounded up, in your personal supply, returning the rest to the general supply.

I’ve learned so much from watching your videos and my love for BGs has grown so much! ❤️ During this Pandemic, I find myself playing games with Solo modes. I was wondering if you would ever create tutorials for games with Solo mode? If not, what channel here on KZbin covers solo tutorials? Please and thank you 💙

I have another question about Deep Vents. If you wanted to take the tile from the top of the deck at the start of your turn, but each of the first 5 tiles already have 10 Archean each on them (10 being the maximum any tile could have in the game), would you still have to place an Archean on each of the first 5 tiles, and if so, what would happen with the 11th Archean that would be placed on the tile? If not, then would you be able to take the tile from the top of the deck for free, due to what I just explained? Also, as a similar question, if you wanted to take the 2nd tile in the row, and the first tile already has 10 Archean, would you still have to place Archean on it? If so, then what happens with the 11th Archean, and if not, then would you take the tile for free?
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
Hey Daniel, if a tile already has 10 archeon on it, then you would not have to place a token on it, to skip over it. That said, the likelihood of this happening is... well, it would require the other players wanting a tile that has less archeon, when there's already one they could take that has 9... which - well, that's ignoring a lot of potential points.
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
Also: "I have another question about Deep Vents. If you wanted to take the tile from the top of the deck at the start of your turn, but each of the first 5 tiles already have 10 Archean each on them" This would be impossible, as it would require no one taking any of the first 5 tiles for 10 turns in a row, and everyone would have run out of Archeon by then. I'm starting to think that you're just trying to dream up strange situations for me to answer :)
@danielschaublin4 жыл бұрын
@@WatchItPlayed This is the last question that I have about the game. If you wanted the 2nd tile from the row, but didn't any Archean in your pool, could you still take it, or would you have the take the free one instead? (Sorry about the other questions. I just wanted to know if those situations would be possible, and what happens if they do show up, despite being a very well chance that those situations would happen. I think what I'm asking here, through, would be a more common situation that the other 2 questions. I just want to make sure that I understand everything before playing this game for the first time.)

I know you sometimes play solo games but usually it's multi player games w/out a solo mode. If there is one it may only get a mention. I would love to see you intentionally play games with a solo mode and include the "How to Play" solo modes.

I have a question. If a player were to take the tile from the top of the deck at the start of their turn, would they still have to place Archean on each tile to the left of the deck before taking the top tile from the deck? In this case, the top tile of the deck would cost 5 Archean, and each tile on the left of the deck would would get 1 archaeon.
@TemujinReads4 жыл бұрын
Yes, they would.
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
Exactly. Although it's at the very top of a stack, that is technically the "6th" tile in the row. Only the far left tile can be taken for free.
@danielschaublin4 жыл бұрын
@@WatchItPlayed Also, at the end of turn, if the tile from the top of the deck was taken, then the first 5 tiles would not shift to the left, and no replacements would be added to the pile, and when the next player takes their turn, each of those first 5 tiles would have 1 extra Archean on them? In that case, the next new tile for the next player would just be the next one from the top of the deck, with no changes in the order of the first 5 tiles.
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
@@danielschaublin Well, technically, the replacement would be the new tile revealed on the tall stack, after the tile is taken from it, but as you say, nothing would shift over.

Your ecosystem fails, so that’s pretty bad. You are definitely the king of understatements, sometimes. Great looking game. Really well thought out mechanics. Looks like a fun and a lot of variation for replays. Definitely a list game. As a scuba diver, the theme is attractive. Simple enough to learn and set up! And, as usual, great job on the video. I think I have decided to go ahead and get a selection of Game Trayz token trays too.

Sometimes it can have to do with experience, but not always. No shame in not fully understanding a game from a video. Sometimes a second watch can clarify things that were only partially understood on a first pass.
