Reason why I love Ronny Dahl more than other Aussie 4x4 channels: its lots of fun but its also very calming... Don't know why I feel that but I do... maybe its because its not all frenetic action all the time. These videos are way to short!

I don't know if it is just my imagination but this particular video feels like it has captured to old spirit and enjoyment that the earlier videos had. It must be tough having to be 'on point' all the time with the demands of doing this for a living but this trip feels like you enjoyed it more than some others we have seen recently. If you want satellite view offline have a look at Australia Topo Maps, we find in invaluable for looking at terrain where there is no phone signal. Just download the areas you are heading out to before you leave home.

@@torbs_littlebear Cheers Torbs, I remember watching the first update years ago. It got me going with my set up. I have BP51's on a 2013 79 s/c but went with OME upgraded srings, would loved to have put parabolic on but couldn't find enough advice on them. There's a big difference in ride comfort between loaded for touring and without the slide on the tray. Just finished a try chop and short box set on chassis rails. Setting up for remote touring. I like my gadgets too so very interested in the electrical mods. Have seen some sets up from USA KZbinrs who have wifi or bluetooth and it seems pretty handy to have remote light access or even to with things like compressors on/off etc. Cheers again, Tim

@@torbs_littlebear yep I get it. You can get away with it- sometimes- I prefer to err on the side on not breaking down. You got off lightly this time. Imagine if it had happened half way along the CSR. Anyway, it’s good you’ve got so far without having to replace much. Are you going to replace the whole vehicle or look at doing some more serious preventative maintenance? We get up to 600,000 out of a VDJ79 but require a lot of changouts after about 400 or even earlier.
