Hi, ur videos are really helping us to learn excel, I have a query regarding automotive coloumn index in vlookup. U have shown for one row to do automotive vlookup, can u explain if multiple rows we need to do the same how to do it. I have done but errors are coming. It will helps if u show for multiple row to fill automatic column index in vlookup

Lock only the Column of the 'Look-up Value'. For example, if the Look-up value is in 'D2', then lock only the Columns 'D' by writing $D2. Therefore, use only one dollar sign before the column and none in between ! Then u can easily drag down and use for more rows.

Hi Deepak, please clarify the following problem: In "COLUMNS" sheet, you have shown how to derive/obtain the data under "Quantity", "Price" and Amount" by dragging the cell from "Item Name" so in a similar way while there are 2 lookup values (sheet 7), can we not obtain the data for "date of order" and "item" along with the "amount"? Yeh, baat, clear nehi ho raha hai.
