I recently took the Deepal S07L on an epic range test adventure, covering an impressive 517 km from Kathmandu to Kakarbhitta on a single charge, driving from 100% to 0%! With 4 people in the car, we tackled challenging off-road sections, uphill climbs, and unpredictable terrains. Despite all this, the S07L delivered an incredible 517 km of range. The car’s impressive features and practicality made the journey not only possible but enjoyable and comfortable throughout.

• Recently traveled from Damak to Kolkata and Gangasagar in the Deepal S07 with just one charging stop, carrying five passengers at an average speed of 90 km/h. • Charging in India is relatively expensive compared to Nepal, with most charging stations offering only 30 kW. Charging from 20% to 96% cost approximately ₹1,100 INR, plus 18% GST. • Achieved an efficiency of 16.5 kWh per 100 km with the heater on, resulting in a range of approximately 400 km. However, with a full load of passengers and luggage, the Comfort mode delivered insufficient power, so I primarily used Sport mode, which provided a range of around 370 km. • Notable drawbacks include low ground clearance and limited headlight throw at night. • Overall, the driving experience was impressive. • However, a friend who has driven the Deepal S07 for 25,000 km has encountered severe issues with wheel alignment and suspension. • Due to the lack of skilled repair technicians at the showroom, he has been facing significant difficulties in resolving these problems.
