The modern west coast IPA made actually start drinking IPAs after 20 years+ of avoiding them. The less bitter character really was the key. The standard pfriem IPA makes me think “modern “ even if a decade old. I’d love to see pfriem do a double dry hopped at some point.

West Coast IPA = IPA. Pallet Jack, OG Laurelwood Workhorse, Boneyard RPM, Pliny the Elder. These are IPA's.
