One point of pushback (from a great video). Jackson, Mahomes, and Allen have all had TOP TEN lines for true pass pro the last 4 years (maybe longer but I just looked at the last 4). I'll paste the numbers. Mobility doesn't matter much vs. *quick* pressure (especially if it can be generated with only 4 rushers). My point is EVEN IF we had a super mobile QB, a line that can't pass protect wouldn't make any sense for a build (especially when they also can't drive block). Pass block win rates: Allen / Bills: 2023 - #6 2022 - #4 2021 - #8 2020 - #4 Mahomes / KC: 2023 - #1 2022 - #1 2021 - #2 2020 - #6 Jackson / Ravens: 2023 - #9 2022 - #6 2021 - #10 2020 - #8 Tua / Fins: 2023 - #31 2022 - #24 2021 - #32 2020 - #27

Against better teams when the defense fails is he going to keep punching and go blow for blow? The passing stats are 1 thing, the fumbles are another. Especially when they result in a safety the provides the other team the points needed to win the game.

The problem with tua besides health obviously, and this will be unpopular. And it's not even directly his fault, is how they had to take most the teams resources to build an offense around him for him to look like this. So everyone complaining about the defense is crazy because where do you think the offensive resources came from? So the defense is what it is, this is how the team was purposely built. We have to win by being able to score more points instead of getting defensive stops. And in those cases where the offense has a turnover or misses a fg or what have you, it becomes crucial. The team wasn't built to be balanced, that's on grier. but on GameDay everyone wants to point fingers and tua gets a lot of that because he's the face of the team.

I don't think I've ever wanted a Dolphin player to succeed more than Tua and maybe Ricky Williams. At least Ricky had a good career and rushed for 10K yards. Tua is so underappreciated, he gets so much hate. He has the potential to be the third best QB for our franchise after Marino and Griese.

@@lucassimpson3961 I'm a lifelong Fins fan, but I'm also a realist. Even if Tua could win when it counted, he's always going to be just one hard sack away from permanent retirement, and yet another Fins season up in smoke smh. After week 2 - we should've put ourselves in draft position to p/u Ward or Sanders imo

How old are you to understand the dynamic of the game , other than you cannot avoid getting busted up at QB in the NFL, Either by scrambling for yards or getting sacked , those are 2 dynamics of Football in the hands of a QB ..

@mr.majestic3851 It really does suck what's happening with Tua's health, and I wish nothing but the best for him, and hope he keeps winning games for us! It's over after the Texans game Doug. The Texans need to win and it's an away game against a winning team. We don't win those games. We can barely beat the bad teams. Yet, it keeps your show going. There is going to be no difference either next year because the roster is Garbage, other than a few players. Grier will re-sign eichenberg for money that could go to a good starter. Bank on it
