Presented by Mark Weathington, Director, and Blake Wentley, Education Assistant, JC Raulston Arboretum on May 15, 2024.
The JC Raulston Arboretum has a mission "To diversify the landscape by sharing our passion, our plants and our knowledge to plan - and plant for a better world." That means we're always looking for the most beautiful, the most robust and the most ecologically beneficial plants for the home landscape and then doing everything in our power to get those plants into people's gardens to contribute to the resilience of our environment. Join our Director, Mark Weathington, for this Midweek Program as he goes Deeper in the Garden and enumerates the virtues of the amazing plants the JCRA has introduced to the public, and all the things we do to make the world a more beautiful place!
You can read J. C. Raulston's account of his 1985 plant collecting trip to South Korea in the Arboretum's historic newsletters that are available on our website.
