Grew a guaranitica hybrid Salvia x Plum Crazy this summer, because of its performance in UGA trial. Nice magenta purple too. Not so "blue". Dark calyx, and good dark green foliage.

Love salvias! Great video!.... what was the video suggested at the beginning of the video?

You could say where the JC Raulston Arboretum is located. I don't think there was mention of that in this video. I had to look it up and found you are located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Thank you.

They referenced both Raleigh and later North Carolina by less than 10 min into the video.

Great video. You mentioned salvias creeping into the rose garden. Sarah Raven says she intentionally plants salvia with her roses because she thinks it cuts down on diseases and pests with the roses. Any evidence of that at JCRA?

Yes it's true, Salvia's underplanted with Rose's stops fungal issues such as black spot.

I’ve not had luck with Nemarosa either in Savannah, GA. At 46.25, what is the name of the variety that Tim said was in the Sclarea sub group, is across from the rose garden and looks like a “giant Nemarosa”? Tx
