This song seemed to have so much meaning to the group that it had me trying to find out why? The emotion that was carried over in this song was so beautiful! Thank you so much to Michel Didion for the super requests and generous donations💖

I think it is more important what you got out of the song than what they do. Music speaks differently to each of us. I felt the emotion from them as well and it is a beautiful song.

Whatever the style of the song, GS will embody that emotion entirely - they can't do anything else but live the song - this is why they're my favourite band to watch.

Very early Gacharic Spin was certainly more J-Pop inspired, but they had some rock influences as well. They also have been very good at mixing genres. But I would say their overall sound was more synthy/poppy than it is now, especially when their original vocalist was still with them (2009-2012). The different iterations of the band (both in members and styles) are a whole rabbit hole in itself although it's less complicated than it seems because the instrumentalists have been the same from 2012 - 2019 when they added the drummer which you have seen in this video (and I Wish I) and when they added Angie (pink hair) on vocals. The other changes have been with dancers which they added after their original lead vocalists left/got fired (still not sure). They used the dancers to fill up the stage in front of the vocalists which were on drums (the guitarist that sung during this track) and keyboards. As far as the slower and more poppy tracks go, they are certainly less for me especially since I typically don't enjoy most ballads but Gacharic Spin has a way to keep me interested during their live shows even if they do ballads. They have some amazing performances of slower songs that I wouldn't necessarily put on but that mesmerize me when watching the live versions. I absolutely prefer their newer sound and especially their more upbeat tracks but there are some absolute bangers from every iteration of the band and that goes for live performances as well. They have multiple live versions of with the different iterations of the band some of their oldest tracks (Lock On!! comes to mind) and all of them have their own flair and are worth checking out. They all bring something different and you can see they still love playing that track even after all these years (it's literally their first single from 2010).

Gacharic Spin, more than any other band (though there have obviously been other influences), have changed my appreciation and view on music as a whole since I first found them like two years ago. As someone who is musically stupid (I can't play anything), they have made me appreciate all the little details and nuances while also being an absolute insane live show. (I'm sure you'll find out soon enough).

Gacharic Spin often writes - and sings - about the band's (and its members') life and journey, and they're not afraid to display their emotions. I'm sure, someone more knowledgable about the background of "Days" will chime in shortly :) This show on 01/10/2022 had been very emotional as a whole - live shows had been few and far between during the two years before, and Angie had turned 20 shortly before: She had her "coming of age"-ceremony in the morning before the show, and the show itself was kind of a coming-of-age present to her. You'll find some tear-jerking perfomances from this show on youtube, and I'm looking forward to your reactions :) Regarding GS's earlier phases: I'm sure, relevant recommendations will come your way, and I won't spoil the surprise for you, but that comment you read wasn't wrong, broadly speaking :D

There are lyric translations floating around, and tl;dr version - it's about going through discontented days. And yes you correctly picked up 🤭, they're a unique band, and I would say it's not only from the western perspective, but they're very unique for Japan as well. That with the fact that do whatever they want and don't shy from doing or blending different genres can be a little too much for some people to handle. As for starting or making their break in the pop genre, I wouldn't say that's true, they had poppy songs back then and they do have them now as well, same goes for more rock sound. If this was reference to the middle period where they had dancers, then all I can tell you that some of the most aggressive songs in their discography come from that period.

Minus yuri as well ;). Doll$boxx is basically the instrumentalists from the 2012 version of Gacharic Spin with Fuki from Unlucky Morpheus (and Light Bringer back then) on vocals.
