I've never seen how afro curls are handeled and i gotta say, this lady is AWESOME! I've been binge watching these and i want to play with tight curls too! 😍 I have been amazed how talented this woman is! Can't stop watching. I studied to be a hairdresser for 2 years (i didn't complete the school because of bullying) and there were never anything done to afro curls, i never got to do anything with this texture hair and it was never teached, which is a shame! I know a couple of friends who have tight curls (not quite 4c but close) and they're white and the girl doesn't know what to do with it, always trying to straighten her beautiful hair.

Girl I love how you talk about our curly hair. I actually got into an argument on Facebook because a chick commented that you should never detangle your hair wet. I was like bih wtf!!! Then she went on to say that brushes were bad too. I've been detangling my hair wet with a wide tooth comb and denman brush since I've been natural and so does everyone else I know. So did my mom when all her girls were young and natural. She made it so much worse when her argument was that she has been a licensed hairstylist for over 20 years.
