Hi Mokruhl. A groupbuy is like a huge preorder. It's hard to explain but basically, when something is advertised as a groupbuy, it means that you can only buy it within a set time period. However, the product actually is not in production yet. Production and shipping happens after the groupbuy ends. Some groupbuys, you get your item 2 months after you purchase it. Sometimes, you get it 2 years after. It just depends. Manufacturers do this to save money since they don't want to make extra. Also, because many groupbuys only ever happen once, it encourages more people to buy it since it will never come back. Although, some groupbuys do come back for extra rounds. just my own thoughts, but i think i preferred the previous one more. I am not sure if it because of the mic or the keycaps, but then the thocc that is produced here are not as "clean"? as the previous ones. Maybe it is because the keycaps produce a really hollow sound. I like the previous ones more cus they had a cleaner and "fuller" sound, but that is just my personal preference that nobody really asked for.
