Thanks! I didn't want to muddy the tutorial with a discussion of countermeasures techniques so I hoped that beaming would do the job. Luckily it was just an SA-2 and I was high.

I played a lot with the HTS and I found it curious that to get a good precision on the position we have to put ourselves way inside the launch envelope of our Harm. Although it is more precise, I sometimes launch in SP mode and keep my distance. Maybe combined with the ECM pod and later the Datalink it'll be an extremely interesting tool. And like you said, it is useful to have the position to slew the TGP to the target for damage assessment! Good video as always!

I would say absolutely. Although it is called the Harm targeting system it is really just an advanced ELINT pod.

when i move my targeting pod, the square on the hud is not on the same position as my tgp , what am i doing wrong? also my cursor is drifting. also the waypoints are not wehre they should be. edit: i tried some deadzones with my hotas and now it seems to be fine

Did you have the coordinates of the fan song saved as steer point #1? Im under the impression EOM requires a SP

I'm always confused with harms. Does the sam site need to beep at you so the harm knows where it is ? So basically you need to keep them beeping at you or else the harm will miss ?

If you're just using the sensor built into the Harm then the site needs to be emitting. When using HTS there are other possibilities and even more as yet not implemented using the datalink.
