Seems like you have not experienced the lab work during ur study tenure, that u're complaining about the field job u left. Its not that bad, yeah salary is less but u can't say "this is what i come to do in canada". Evry feild has its way to work. I completely diasgree with this statement. If evryone could wore labcoats and eyewears, then everyone would have become a biotechnologits or scientists. Agree, this field is not for everyone, but if you are a true lover of biology, u wouldn't disrespect it.

I'm a BS biotechnology student, 6th semester. This field has no scope in Pakistan and I'm planning on to apply for fully funded scholarship after graduation because I've been told that this field has scope abroad. Plus, in Pakistan I have spent three years on this degree where I have not attended a single workshop, seminar, lab tour plus I don't have any laboratory exposure. Just got theoretical knowledge.

Honest feedback. Same experience here! You pay more, cant work alongside like others due to tough study schedule and no scope afterwards. Particularly if you are doing Biotech Health diploma after 12th. if you are mediocre student, have no particular interest in it, dont go for it. Only your agent benefits from it!
