99% of how people attack is by doing side passes in the box as shown in the video, imagine that you defend in 442 as you should in this game, to prevent side passes you have to select one of two cdms that on the weak side and cover that side pass while jockeying with that player towards the ball holder while staying on the line of pass and pressing the ballholder by using r1 press, this way you will trap him from 2 sides and disposses the ball from a weaker opponent or at least prevent him to spam side passes and force him to the flank and/or recycle

I mastered it in fifa 19 unknowingly when I started playing war games. I'm not even good at them but you have to use the right stick constantly. Only annoying thing this year is the sensitivity thing.

Your videos are fantastic and explained very well. Even though I'm in the elite division, I still rely on LB (L1) for defending and often struggle against opponents. Your videos are incredibly helpful. I have two more requests if you don't mind: 1. I still use timed finishing off. 2. I'm not familiar with skill moves either. These are my main concerns. Can you help me? In the Champions Finals, I'm ranked between IV and V. My skill rating in the elite division is 750.

Yeah that work in an easy game meaning a game that have not relevance if u win, it’s different on a game to go up on rivals or a better spot in fut champs, for example I’ve pointed the stick to right just to switch not to right defender or midfielder but the striker on opposite direction and if by the mercy of God I intercepted the pass the ball will make a weird bounce n travel to a player with an even greater option to score this game is a joke

Yes, it's best if you strike a balance between the two. Still learning how to right stick properly. Threw months now.

Use hug the sideline but you need to have tall fullbacks so they can win the headers

I used it since fifa 20 to eafc 24, this year, cos i couldnt defend kickoff glitches, i finally made a change to player relative and im practicing it since toty event, and im so glad i did that switch, now its not only easier to defend kick offs but also a great help in offense since player lock is also dependent on what you put on switch player/ball relative, i always tried to add player lock in to my game but could not cos of ball relative, i just couldnt choose the player that 2-3 blocks away, first it was so painfull cos of mucle memory, but i finally fully switched to player relative and it was a needed change, cos i was hindering myself before that

Used to but dumped it 2 months ago. Switched to Player relative and it's giving. It's not easy that for sure but with dedication I'm noticing much improvement as I get by. Ball relative is good but so limiting. Player relative is the real deal.
