Silva Cells are used to help city trees grow to healthy maturity - but the system is also a powerful stormwater management device. Three experienced members of our DeepRoot staff help explain how Silva Cells work as an LID stormwater tool: a method for cleaning and slowing stormwater on-site, essentially serving as an underground raingarden and working with the natural environment for the most possible project (and environmental) benefits.
