When I was 10 I was sitting on my grandpas front porch and lightning struck the fence across the road and was a huge ball and rolled down the fence until I couldn’t see it anymore. It was amazing. Luckily I was sitting next to my Grandpa God Bless You All

Darn missed you when you were Live but thankful to watch replay. Glad you got a lot of rain again and were able to be on Live here. You've been busy but when it's canning season that's your focus. It's cooled down here to 70 tonight and was a lot cooler during the day for a something different. Finally drying out some now so maybe can work on weeding and mowing the forest lol Anything I grow outside has to be covered. Even so three new pines I planted aren't doing well. Probably due to the soil content now although I put a lot of soil they were growing in with them. My persimmon and other trees are doing fine growing in outer building with lights. Wow that's some nice white peaches and glad your canning as many as you can Wonderful you were blessed with those white peaches. I need to catch up on your videos. I watched a little bit of debate and that was enough for me I want someone to run our country that has our interest at heart and not so worried about slamming the other candidates. Exciting Pecan Grove is growing by leaps and bounds yeah! Thanks for the replay of the Live. I appreciate all you have shared and good information in the chat as I read it too. I like celebrating every day the Lord blesses me with. Occasionally have grandkids over and acknowledge for graduation, etc but not a lot of whoopla going on here. Time is too short to waste it. I wouldn't mind fine tuning my bow and arrow for hunting possibly. Prayers for those in line of storms. May they keep their trust in Him to watch over them. I do have generators and what is needed in good shape for bad weather. Never leave anything to chance although been safe in storms that have come this way. Thanks for sharing. Hello 👋 Mr. Danny and Miss Wanda, congratulations on getting some rain. It’s been hot and dry here in western Tennessee. You warned those of us in the upper latitudes that our weather was going to be not so nice. Thank you for the warning. I’m very late in getting my sweet potatoes in the ground. If I get a frost before 125 days, will I still be able to get a harvest of potatoes? This heat has made fence building a real challenge for me. I’m the same age as Mr. Danny and I can see that he runs circles around me with no problem, or at least it appears to be the case. Have you though about having date palms? Just one palm tree will produce 300 pounds of date fruit. Think about it, Publix sell a little box of dates for 4.99 each. And that is not even a 10 percent of a pound. And it is giving you 300 pounds. You can sell them in box , you can make jelly out of it. The animals eat it. You can eat them.

LOL I'm no Homesteader. I grow enough for a year for us and that's it. I'm more in the prepper category. I'm lucky to live near people who raise livestock...No one around here can sew a stitch. But I can, and that works well from a bartering standpoint. In fact, most of my entire afternoons are spent sewing and mending for my local folk......The point is, farming and homesteading ended for much of my family 2 generations ago. There's still a big orchard business in PA, but Daddy donated the plantation in GA to the state after Grandma passed....I worked my whole life so I could save to afford a rural lifestyle (stuff costs more than you think when you start out). My old "Garden and Gun" clique would shun me now LOL.

Lightening can follow along the ground in a ball or orb shape. It will "roll" toward something metal. I've seen it once, very freaky looking!
