Interesting results with good info especially with the Nox gold mode. I appreciate the good down to earth comparison testing on both machines. The Vista X seems to be a heck of decent detector for the price.

Yep, open field relic hunting prospecting 1 mode is the one. Also good in heavier iron too, user will have to listen though because lot of audio will be flowing. Lot of performance in the EQX for sure. Good thing Minelab was able to make prospecting multi freq. at one time this was not going to happen. Evidently they found a way. ID of deeper targets in erroryet one can get nonferous ID.

My videos not flashy. I don’t have one of those 2 minutes bells and whistle intros like some do. Just the meat and potatoes.

Thanks for your videos, TnSharpshooter, the cross-check of real, in situ long-buried targets with oxidation halos is informative & I appreciate your time and effort and straight talk. I'm trying to make an informed decision to upgrade from AT Pro to a new machine that punches deep and isn't fooled too much by iron, preferably waterproof, preferably somewhat rugged, good customer service & upgrades/repairs. My goal is to work over a colonial site that has been productive for me (like the field you're in currently) and to try to uncover stuff the AT Pro missed after I pounded it. If you could please reply to my comment with your preferences & observations so far that would be great. My soil is ground balancing at about 85-90 on AT Pro so I guess moderate mineralization, and my goal is relics and deep coins. Your input re: Nox 800, maybe Nokta Anfibio, XP Deus, Deeptech Vista and others would be appreciated, although I think the Deus is getting out of my price range already and I like the multi-frequency capability especially simultaneous of Nox 800. If you have any thoughts about PI machines I'd appreciate that as well, though many would be out of my $ range. Thanks in advance!

Before you dig the target up scan with both detectors to see how they sound

I recently had troubles with the equinox on a old church site... Coins are max 5 mm and dating from 900-1200 and my dad with his Deus was nailing the site... I switched over to prospect and started to hitting them as well.. they bang in at vdi 2/3 and I came to the conclusion that in the other modes they passed trough as iron caus of the break points lol.... How is the vista, does the threshold works like on tesoro, so supertune it?

Nice video, I myself was trying a new machine today the xp orx now that machine you could swing all day and not feel it and it did quite well, I like the vista x videos I hope you do very good with it, correct me if I am wrong but doesn't both toggle switches do the same thing? if so maybe eliminate the right switch for better comfort and just use the left one.
