Karnataka has different foods in different regions but you show only old Mysore region everytime go to North Karnataka ( Hubli, Belgaum) and also uttara kannada district ( Sirsi, Karwar) they have different foods explore them once.

Karnataka is not limited Bangalore, Mangalore or Mysore, it also has Hubli-Dharwad, Belgaum, Gadag, Bijapur, Gulburga etc., and the food here are very very delicious comes with a lot of Anazing flavors 🙂

@Ashish Mishra I tried making the Medu Vada, traditional Mysore Bonda, Goli Baje with coconut chutney, Sajjige Bajil /Rulanv Phovu and Sannas / Idlis at home and they were incredible 😊 The taste was outstanding 😋 and I can truly understand the love for South Indian Food 😍I'm sure you may want to try it at home if you enjoy South Indian cuisine 😊

The roots of South Indian breakfast originate from Udupi in Karnataka. And ofcourse, the breakfast of Karnataka are exceptional especially the idlis, dosas, bisi bele bath and akki rottis

Going by the repeated recommendations of Duncan Double Diamond CTC tea in the series here, I ordered one packet from Amazon since it is not readily available locally in Mumbai....but completed disappointed.... it is not at all strong, in fact most insipid I have ever tasted.

@@thomaskoshy1364 Thank you for your detailed guideline. I am using Tata Tea Gold. For a certain quantity of tea cups, it gives excellent results always...but when i double the quanity of all ingredients for double the number of cups, results are always unsatisfactory. I will certainly try your recommendations. Much appreciate your reply.

Can you come again on your method please....boiling the combo for how long before switching off the gas? And of course, this will be a question of preference, but what proportion of milk to water do you use?

@@amolk6731Approx 1/4 milk + to water, (1cup = 250ml ) some like it more milky . Put it to boil, halfway thru add 2 tsp sugar (choice) & stir or lift the pan & swirl to dissolve it & add tea L/D & wait for it rise, u will find T sticking on the top edges of the pan,use spoon or lift pan from fire & swirl in circular motion. Put it back on flame & boil again & switch off, twice is enough.Put lid on with good fit & allow it to brew for min 5mts . 1 tsp is adequate for AVT as it is strong . Use trial & error method for other cos. For leaf u may have to add more. Tata gold leaf is very longish in size unlike brooke bond leaf. Use a measuring tsp it is available in sets made of steel or food grade plastic. Never reheat tea it is not good for health.

BTW, do you have any idea how to make tea the way they prepare in Chennai tea stalls...using the long cloth tea filters and milk boiling away. That makes a fabulous cup of tea...I would love to make tea which would taste like that.

@@amolk6731 At Chennai, have had tea at numerous places , the tea tastes very nice must have atleast 2 glasses as the quantity is not satisfying enough. The preparation is somewhat similar to mine but on a larger scale & they boil 2-3 times & straight away pour into the cloth filter & then they twist & squeeze with tongs to extract & then they top up each glass with some frothy milk. At Kolkata,it is the same tech especially at punjabi dhabas. These Bihari, UP guys are making milky tea in the same style but with crushed cardamom, ginger, cloves & serve in a kulhad (clay cups) .It tastes very nice in the rains & during winter months .The bongs prepare on order. The mossys have their milky extra sweet tea. In my opinion, unlike cofee Tea tastes insipid when served in steel tumblers .I opt for filter coffee at big restaurants at Chennai. At Chennai they are using hotel blend dust. I have had T at Kodai, Ooty, Hubli & the flavour, aroma is amazing.

@ujwal Raisoni I made the Mysuru's most popular breakfast 😋🤤which is served near Kukkarahalli lake and it's called the Set Masala Dose along with the Potato Bhaji, Red Chutney and Coconut Chutney and I'm so glad to share the recipe. Do try it out if you are a Street Food Lover 😊👍
