@@Ritheix bloodrend was hardly bad on release. Attunements are hard asf to balance, typically there's a lot of moves that are overtuned or passives that are broken. With Bloodrend, though, there was only one absurdly stupid mantra (scarlet cyclone) and that was about it. The only reason people called it broken was because it was new and people didn't know how to parry it. I mean shit, most people called it terrible when it released

Just cause it won't die doesn't mean it'll thrive like it used to and Deepwoken has every possibility to do so I believe they should remove shaky block as to remove things like graycasting, and moves things that make a player forced to take posture dmg, and make the game not like it used to be but, have a system where overtime the Ether does run out and bring back Reservoir that can't be regained unless someone else attacks that player. As well as make the parry cd shorter

The issue is not the lack of content, but the lack of feel. Back in the day people would play deepwoken for weeks from morning til night and somehow not run out of content. That is because back then it was an rpg roguelike shrouded in mystery. Now it is no longer an rpg, people for the most part no longer play it for the roguelike aspect and there is no more mystery. Adding content to deepwoken in this state is a game equivalent to an absent father buying their kid frequent gifts to make up for not being able to spend time with them. It will never be enough

I really hoped I was wrong about deepwoken's fate. I constantly pressed that the rising player count doesnt mean shit. Seems I was right. They simply make the group a professional dev team, instead of a friend group, revert a lot of content that's come out for the sake of balancing, and understand that your game is at its endpoint in terms of scale. In my opinion, conquest should be abandoned, for the sake of freeing the devs of their shackles.
