Thank you so much for showing the dialogue, it feels like nobody ever does. I agree that the void feather thing is stupid, but I also wanted to point out that Akira used his bell to make those peoples heads explode, you can see it flash. I don’t know what lore implications that has, but it’s really interesting to think about! I’ve also heard that with extremely high charisma (unbound) you can actually succeed on the check in Akira’s event dialogue, and it’ll have the dialogue “ _The man blinks, apparently stunned._ “ before he vanishes in a flash of lightning. Not sure if it’s true and I honestly don’t wanna try it lol

Im working on trying it with one of my slots, specifically to learn more about the ignition. I mean theres someone selling ingition armor INSIDE the diver base which is strange to me, on top of that dialogue basically saying your with the ignition. It would be pretty lame for him to just vanish and nothing else happen so I'm wondering if doing that and then interacting with ignition members does anything.

@@xtreme808 I accidentally got good rep with the ignition union in summer isles, they (as in the ignition guards left after events) unfortunately didn’t say anything interesting but they had much different dialogue and had different mannerisms while speaking compared to most npcs

@@kirawn it isn't even that you have to farm for a rare drop from a corrupted owl which in itself is pretty fucking rare, it is that it has to be corrupted which you have to do it in the depths and risk wiping 24/7. God I don't understand why they insist on making boosted shit only. Solo players should be able to progress without it being incredibly headache inducing 24/7. It just isn't worth your time getting if you are a solo player. Guess we should just wait till the next Oath and hope it is better.

Akira may have vision shaper but he did not use it against the ignition union soldiers. if you watch the clip carefully. you will see a bell on akira's waist. signalling he has a bell, this is very possible seeing as he is a diver. right before he kills the ignition union soldiers his bell lights up signifying it being activated. the killing of the soldiers was not vision shaper but it was the use of his mysterious bell clip of his bell at 6:34

First let’s look at Erisia, there are 3 interesting things about Erisia: *1 )* It’s the location of the Temple of Forgotten Flames, in which the “ *Forge of Sin* ” previously remained ( before Lord Erisia took it ) *2 )* Lord Erisia experimented with *Forge of Sin* ,and he has created “ *Mindless Servants* “ ( possibly a hivemind of his own ) also wearing blindfolds ( just like Regent? ), unsure if these mindless servants are from the *Forge of Sin* *3 )* The only area in which Owls ( the true hivemind ) are seen, is coincidentally the same island in which the *Forge of Sin* lies Lord Regent could easily deal with Lord Erisia, and retrieve the Forge of Sin himself, but he chooses to send you to do so instead, possibly due to the above factors. Lord Regent also greatly resembles the Ferryman, it’s also states that nobody knows where Lord Regent originated from, and Lord Regent literally sits on a Throne decorated with *Coral* ( Depths reference? ) aswell as strange talismans to protect him from something? Lastly, the face or skin of the palace guards *cannot* be seen at all due to their all black attire, these guards also speak with *no personality* unlike the Town guards or Vigil guards, and they are the only humanoid NPCs that don’t have out of combat dialogue, it’s very possible that they either aren’t human, or are also mindless in some sense. It’s also very possible that Lord Regents Palace is his *domain* but expanded into the real world, which would explain why he is able to instantly execute you with black thorns from the ceiling.

I have a theory: since the nest mind said something about how we think the depths is a layer and that it only exists in our minds, what if when we die in the etrean luminant, we don’t actually go to the depths, but our mind does, kinda like when ur dreaming or in a coma/vegetative state. This also means that the people u see in the depths, like Akira aren’t real at all.

Actually, Akira is real since he’s a diver, their entire job is to dive under the sea and explore the depths. But, when you go the depths, it’s actually your soul that goes there, this the drowned stat (unless whirlpool, in which you literally go to the depths like a diver, since you don’t get yeeted out of castle light since there’s some anti drowned charming)

To add to my theory: irl, when someone dies, sometimes their body gets thrown into the ocean, in deepwoken you probably would get thrown into the ocean too cuz I don’t see any graveyards or burial sites other than the tomb of the lost warrior. Anyways you get thrown into the ocean when you lose both of ur lives and u go unconscious. This is why the people who give u 25 cash in the inns say that ur finally awake. (Cuz they found ur body washed up on the shore after u woke up from the depths)

The theme of the depths is also called “Pelagic Slumber” slumber means sleep. also when you dream, you dream of things you’ve already seen before, our deepwoken character sees a lot of monsters and probably bases their lives around the ocean, which is why the depths is so scary because the ocean literally has monsters coming out of it when we r alive

Also have to agree about grinding void feathers being bad design. It feels like they took one step forward with trial of one, making progression better, and then two back with visionshaper. Its like they have this need to make things extremely grindy, and rare, for the sake of being grindy and rare. This and tacet are probably the worst designed progression in the game, and for some reason, Monad really loves doing this type of progression.

He can't be a visionshaper because I had defiant (willpower talent) that makes it so that you are immune to illusion magic. I know someone is gonna make the "Oh then how come I could see aelita doing visionshapery stuff with defiant" Akira hasn't done anything to signify him being a visionshaper. All he did was blow up some legion officer's heads and draw a line. It's very obvious that he is a frostdrawer, and I have an explanation as to why he could do what he did. He froze the moisture in their heads. Water expands when it turns to ice, hence their heads exploding. I still can't find out why I can see aelita using visionshaper when i have defiant, but im pretty sure that's because the event would be nonfunctional otherwise. I rest my case.
