Spunky little guy, Momma knows the deal, has been through the process before..interesting hearing her making contentment/contact calls vs stress calls..defusing tension.. he's DEFINITELY NOT a fan of the process! Couldn't see much of Momma's behavior, would be interesting to see her reaction throughout process..I've been with wild whitetail for over 40 years, to be with during last weeks before labor, then birth..then the cleanup & "hunker stage"..special time if year. My Zoe (8 this year) & her Daisy(3) each had twins last year, what a riot together..year before, I missed birth, they were given well..she brought them to me @11PM ..SHE POSITIONED HERSELF 5 FEET AWAY, WITH ME IN MIDDLE, BETWEEN HER & TWINS..RASCAL & LUNA!🥰 THAT was a special experience, pointed me out as safe buddy, then drew her little ones to our friendship (rather than "I'll show ya when they can scamper") Deer can be amazing to work with, when you spend enough time with them, they are amazing communicators, once you understand how they engage from their perspective, it just gets deeper and better understanding between worlds..
