I agree on having a shelter. We just use a pop up blind. Set it up about a month early that way they are used to it.

Hey Mike, Nothing has been moving up here, but your videos helped me stay out there, finally had a beauty of a spike run 5 yards in front of my muzzle this morning as the weather turned. I passed on him because I'm in the same boat as you, but it felt good to finally have something in my sights again. Thanks for your videos, and good luck, I hope you bag a monster!

Steep mountains!! You better be careful!! I like that shelter you have setup. Jerod and I need something like that up on the mountain where we hunt. That is true hunting, Mike, sometimes you see them and sometimes you don't. You just got to get out there. That is true deer camp coffee!! LOL I like perking coffee though, and I have a small 2 cup aluminum percolator coffee pot that I put in my pack sometimes. But that is a great way to have coffee if you don't have a pot to perk it in. It makes you feel a lot better to have some comforts. They ought to also search other KZbin reviews on the same camera. Jerod and I doing these KZbin reviews on trail cameras, we tell people that our review is initial review, a more thorough review will happen 6 months to a year later. We like to see how it is going to hold up in the elements. That rain would make me want to take a nap in that shelter. Yes in deed, a shelter or a blind is nice when the weather is nasty. New to your channel. Enjoy watching how you spend the time in your shelter. Have been using folgers singles for years. In the blind and at home daily. I dont drink enough coffee to warrant using the coffee pot...one single a day.

It’s been a weird year so far for us. We haven’t been seeing many deer this year. Not even many road killed (which is a good thing) deer this year
