Amazing deer numbers.

@@sidmar200 you wouldn’t believe the numbers out during the day on some other properties that don’t allow shooting there, mobs of 3-400 just beside the road not worried about cars

Can anyone recommend how to find properties in North Queensland that allow hutting. I've been trying for a while now but I can't get any info or people don't want to help. Any info would be appreciated.

There's no easy path mate , I've been up here since 2010 , fortunate enough to have my own property to hunt on , but only been getting new properties the past 4-5 years. Basically you just have to keep your ears open and ask the question any time you meet someone with property ask the question , you would be surprised how many property owners will let you hunt if they know you , pigs in particular are a big pest up here , there are plenty of people who actually charge money to eradicate pigs , so if you're going to do it for free most people will give you a go if they get to know you. Unfortunately there's a lot of idiots in this game who get excited and cause damage/problems when hunting , and ruin it for the rest of us , so it helps if you actually get to know the owners first.

pretty sure a beer can is 2,5 centemeters short at 12.5 should be 15

you're right , but it's a lot easier to accurately judge 2cm by eye than 15 when you don't have a crab measure😀

I learnt that trick in the territory where the size limit is only 13 , but it's still pretty easy to tell if they're 15
