Jan. 29, 2023 Loved the tour! I really like the forested areas but I honestly feel the map creators missed alot when they did not make the production plants as both sell points And buyable factories. Yes, I know there are lots of modded ones you can buy/place but it just seems odd the way they did it. The least they could have done was make those areas buyable so you could put down a replacement one. Just MY opinion. The swamp area is cool also. Take care sir and thank you for your time.

Enjoyed the tour! Thanks for the time you put in to these. 👍 This map really appeals to me. I am closing in on 400 hrs on Silverrun Forest and had never done logging. Farming only. Now I'm ready for a mixture of the 2. I think this is the map for me! 😎

Since I built the rollercoaster I ride it to get super strength then throw the logs into a logging trailer, I wish all maps on console had a way to get super strength

Seen this map in the mod hub so I come on you tube for a map tour from no one elts but Mr Sealyp and I’ve been playing it for about 10/15 hours and my god I am in love with this map would highly recommend to play! Thank you for the map tour paul! I’ve fount my new favour map thank you!

I just started watching Dark, I know what you mean, even down to the avenues through the trees where the pylons are, it never occured to me that would be a fire break as well. All we need is a nuclear power plant looming over the landscape, and maybe a mysterious cave in the woods. On Netflix it defaulted to English dubbing for me, but I think it actually works better in German with subtitles, which you can select under language options.

Mapmakers must consider the use of foliage. Most of the time it’s annoying , you can’t remove it and it’s a bummer on a map . I play old stream farm, really nice map but on PS4 the foliage on the farm renders not fast enough so you see dark spots in the distance. Same on dark forest, I can’t get rid of those bushes… not with plowing, cultivating or landscaping.

Thanks Mr S. Every body is different and likes different maps or items to use or even the layout. So you don't have to go into a real detail of why you don't like . We have many ideas what we want in game .but sometimes this is the only way to get it out for someone to see it. I think FS 22 should of had an idea alot in the menu for maps or vehicle or style of maps. It really needs to be on the menu than one her severs .many players hav asked for the same item some different ones . Some have ideas to make items better or even adjust them . Some maps have great layout but lack something but mix 2map together or take things from what maps consoles get would be great. I think it's good to have different things on the map rather than just let's say a logging map if a bit of something is on the map for everyone's game style on the map then it's a win win . I feel that console players have been let down by not having things pc . has we only get what mods give us what they bring over that they like . But as a community of players .I think we all should have an opportunity to things we would like I know people think it's a farm game and some mods are in realistic. But some love types of mods for ease of play. And others who don't like maps or that mod then the choice is there not to use it them . FS is not just about farming it's a farming simulator . life style that adapts many different styles for gamers to enjoy which in reality helps the game keep and also get new players so keeps it alive by evolve for many game styles of play. For instance look at ATS . Players love that game but why as there's no real envolment or emerse gaming. Point to point there's nothen else in the he way or game play but it has great looking trucks. Take GTA a game that hat has been going for years also to hat has a bit of everything in one game and not just certain maps it's all on one map. Except extra sideline things Todo or celebrate the game evolved and it's not just about car stealing. If you understand what I'm trying to say. But both different games from FS 22 . Before any hater's troll . Look at pc players what things they have had for many years on any of FS games . My sad point is console have been let down and not evolved at the same rate it's not really evolved from FS 19 in reality we had factory's and stones in that . Yes we can use the hooks on trees .but again there are mods out there but not for consoles until a modder brings us any and again what they want not what the players wish for even though the modders don't play on consoles. We need a wish room menu slot on the main menu screen on the game it's self to make it easier and quicker for ideas and wishes 🤔🥰

You are moaning about the difference between PC and console, yet you don’t seem to understand why they are different. Console is mostly limited by licensing the hardware is a limit to but is easily worked around unlike the licensing. GTA is in a genre all of its own the only other game that’s close is Saints Row, to compare GTA to FS is foolish. Rocks along with factories (productions) where introduced in FS22 we did not have them on console in FS19. “We need a wish room” that’s not how modding works as modders don’t work for us. You can suggest a mod in the FS forums someone might make it. If you want certain mods then your best bet is to build a PC, learn 3D software, learn the games scripting and make them yourself.

I love this map but it’s annoying. If you clear wooded areas and then plough the land the dead sticks and ferns still remain meaning it looks all wrong for farming.

@@Farmerh01 unfortunately that doesn’t seem to work on this map. Ploughed out a strip to test and then went over with various cultivators and the ferns and sticks still remain. At least on Xbox anyway 🙁

@@GAVEUP1 doesn’t seem to work on this map at least on Xbox. It just paints the grass but leaves the ferns and sticks there.

You need to go to plants and put meadow over it. Not paint.

I like the map, but I dont like it when they only use obe type of tree, the forest doesnt look alive. On silverrun they use all types to make it look real. Here all the trees are the same height making look flat and annoying. So I’ve started removing trees, just so I can put in others so it looks better. 😂

@@chrisasst I was on ps4, for me it never got closer than like 1.2 kilometers out, just went back and forth between that point and something like 1.6 kilometers. Waited for about 10 minutes and never showed up. Just tried it once though and never went back but I will and see if it works later.

MrSealyP, you started to make a point about criticising maps or mods, then got sidetracked and never finished your point!! What were you going to say? I believe mod and map makers value a third party opinion, so criticise away, as long as you give an opinion on how it could be improved, it will probably be something that the modder hasn't thought of.
