always sounds like a train going by.....heard one go by during 83 hurricane and saw one in the 90 s take house 3 doors down and removed roof and dropped roof in street.....then lifted rear of car across the steet about 5 feet and dropped it and went back in the clouds.....now again in pasadena

I don't like the stereotyping of Texans, saying that Texans didn't care about their safety during a tornado!!! Obviously, they care and they're not stupid or naive to think that they can shoot at a tornado to stop it!!! Fox weather you should be better than this!!!

Houston used to be amongst the top 10 of Tornado hit cities with population over100,000 . Haven't checked in10 years though

No not here in Texas. Hurricanes are prone here and Ef0 tornadoes but not an Ef2,Ef3 tornadoe.

I hate when people say that cliche’ term to describe a tornado coming! Why doesn’t sound like a passenger train?! It is always the small-minded “freight train”!

It doesn't always tho people who are interviewed from the big, loud, destructive ones are typically the ones, so it's you hear . I sat thru hurricane Ike off the water had 8 by the house, and they snuck up out of know where a small one thru a trash can and smacked me . Luckily, I put on a friends dirt bike helmet to walk outside .
