seems pretty decent car 540 motor 4x4, can you upgrade to brushless if not still worth it you could upgrade the battery to a 3S the motor would be able to take it awesome video

You CANNOT put a 3s battery straight in this car you will fry the ESC in no time. I own this car and the ESC fried after 8 charges and that was with the wimp 2S 10c batteries that came with it. I decided to upgrade to brushless and though I successfully achieved this it wasn't easy because nothing on this car is industry standard. Everything on this car seems to be a unique one off size to the brand. Even after I basically replaced every electronic item in the car I struggled to mesh the drive pinion gear. Deerc one is bigger than all the standard ones I could find so whilst I did get it to mesh on the 3rd pinion I tried it isn't right. I don't know how long before it damages the main drive wheel? Great little car for the cost but it certainly isn't worth buying it to upgrade in the future. Get an MT10 or Arrma granite....it will prove easier and cheaper in the end. One final point...spare parts are not easy to come by for this car.

It's only $100, you can just buy a new one if it breaks and then have plenty of spare parts. So $200 for a truck with every single spare part.

They lied about the shocks being oil filled: they are friction shocks with some grease in them, they are not oil filled shocks. They also lied about the speed, it is way slower than the box label They also lied about run time, they profess the run time as 40 minutes but reality is that continued running beyond 15 minutes without allowing for adequate cool down, the car runs too hot and will shut down, better than it catching on fire though…
