Nice banjo, but no truss rod is a deal breaker for me.

I would think though unless you are in the habit of leaning any stringed instrument against a wall or something and not keeping it in it's case or on a string swing while not using it, a rock maple neck shouldn't warp. Of course with acoustic guitars extreme temps are dangerous also hot and cold but these banjos are made pretty darn solid. My opinion but i have worked with rock maple on other projects including furniture and there is a reason it got its name! MT

Every song sounds the same in Scruggs style. Old time is far better in every way.
