You've came a long way from your early beginnings and every since you reach 1 million subs, your content has gotten better every since. I used to like fishing before, but after seeing your channel, it made me respect it. Your love not only for hunting/fishing but also the respect of the wildlife you harvest is something beautiful and it can't go unnoticed, and that is very inspirational. And the love for your family, the respect you teach to your daughters and the relationship between you and your wife is very touching and makes you a fantastic father. A lot of people consider the average Florida man as some deranged person committing the most unusual crimes, befriending an entire congregation of gators and being an overall menace to society. I so enjoy watching someone enjoy catching fish as much as I did: One of the finest pleasures in life is finding, fighting, filleting and frying up a chunk of 'heavenly sunshine.' Most of all, I love to watch how this family nurtures those youngsters - reminds me of my youngest daughter's family with a six and an eight year old who appreciate nature and are learning everything about the Low Country. "Why are all those people looking at us," asked the six year old grand daughter slamming oysters and clams in her mouth. I guess not many people see youngsters enjoying seafood as much as they do. What a blessing.

Awesome. I used to work at Gray,s taxidermy. People would bring in fresh hogfish to get mounted. Since they were getting a reproduction mount, we would fillet em up and take em home. Delicious. Great vid

@@deermeatfordinner Yes that is a big one . They are complex but yet simple once you get the hang of them. To set the legs on bottom sometimes takes up to 3-4 hours to make sure you are stable enough to support the rig

Hey rob thanks for sharing you life with me/us....I dont know what I would have done recently WITHOUT your VIDEOS. My daughter loved your VIDEOS. She had leukemia. She just passed away yesterday on valentine's day. And I'm a single father. I've lost everything to covid my job my house my car. I'm really really struggling I'm to the point where I'm about to just give up. But if i were to give up then I would never see my daughter in heaven. Because suicide is a sin. And I know that....but can you imagine what it feels like to lose the only good thing in your life? And worst part is I dont have the money to give her a proper burial and funeral arrangements. Rob I'm not one to put my personal business out there or the type to ask for help. But I'm literally desperate and depressed and my anxiety is killing me knowing that if I'm not able to bury my baby. Then they will cremate her....and i really really dont want that to happen. Robert Arrington from a father and a man to another father and man. Can you please find it in the kindness of your heart to please help me with my situation..you know how much a simple funeral and burial cost here in florida. And I dont have much family. And her mom and her family abandoned us when she was born and they found out she was sick. Rob I ask you for help because your a god fearing man as I am. And I know you wont turn your back on a fellow brother and one thats asking for help....and to anyone else here on KZbin watching this awesome video on this awesome channel. I also ask for help from you guys. Any thing will help drastically. Delicious My uncle taught me, if I put too much seasoning, on the different varieties of fish You never know which type of fish you’re eating you just taste, seasoning Also to remove the wild taste and wild game is to soak your wild game freshly cleaned in salt water it will leak or absorb the blood out of the veins and the tissue of the meat removing the wild taste Repeat the talking process of salt water until the water becomes translucent clear see-through

I was blessed to live in South Florida and fish for hog fish for 15 years and travel across to Bimini three or four times a year to go get the monsters. It is the most delicious tasting fish. Fine and flaky almost like lobster. Very difficult to catch with a hook and line you’re spearfishing them most of the time. It was hogs/grouper/bugs. That was the standard fare, every once in a while we would get the big grouper. When we go to Bimini then we would load up on strawberry grouper which were smaller but very delicious!

Rob, I have never even heard of a hog fish, let alone seen one! That thing was absolutely gorgeous brother! Do they get much bigger than what yours was? That has got to be the best fish I’ve ever seen you cook also. I want to try that recipe so bad but unfortunately will never get that opportunity but a guy still has to dream about something ya know! That was such an easy sauce to make and it’s got to be absolutely wonderful! I’ve gotta try and come up with something that I can try and cook that I can use that sauce on!! I use to spearfish hog snapper off Elliot key around pacific light house back in the 70s you could get great grouper snappers,mutton,red,gag,&nassau groupers &catch cubera snapper in 95/120’ deep at night .those were the best times with a lifetime of memories I live in tenn.now It just memories to me now !!! I miss the fishing all over so much but since getting married w/kids now adults &with children of their own, says it all the ,b ut I still have the memories the boat &all the gear. I’m going to just have to go. I’m not getting any younger though I still am active & do it all still , just not enough offshore fishing living here unless we go to the keys ,haven’t been there since my dad died & buried him on Big Pine Key being 67 yrs. old i’m still as active as I was in my 40/50s I thank God for that staying actives most important enjoy your clips thanks
