Nice story about your grandpa😎 For 40 years we had a 120 acre farm ( my playground) in SE WI about a mile from Alpine Valley. Me and then my sons spent a major part of our weekends on it. We lived about 45 minutes away in N. Illinois on Lake Michigan. Great times and memories In Wisonsin. Go to a restaurant at resort areas and the portion sizes are just nuts! One time I ordered a walleye, one of my favorite eating fish, and it covered the entire plate and then some!🤣 And yes, there is no shortage of butter used in the dairy State. Thanks for sharing your time there, your video brought back memories.🤠

When I first heard you talking about the fish called a sheephead, I actually had to rewind the video to hear what you said again and even put the captions on. I Googled it to further get an idea of what fish you were talking about. According to you though you said that it was a trash fish. It's also called a freshwater drum. But almost every heading I got on the question of is it a good eating fish or a trash fish, pretty much led back to believe that it is a really good tasting fish, it just needs to be known how to prepare it correctly. I don't think anything that I read said anything about it being a trash fish. We are in a part of Florida that always seems to not get hit bad during hurricanes. So far we have been lucky. God has blessed us. I don't have a lot of money, but I really got excited when you said that about the power of prayer. We will definitely keep those people in our prayers. We had some relatives that moved away from here for that very reason, in fact moved to North Carolina, but got it much worse than they ever had it when they lived down here. That's my sister-in-law. Please keep her in your prayers and anyone who reads this as well. God bless to you all!

That boat is really nice! Travel around the world, and most of the boat rigs are yamaha ... loved that video. The kids were having fun , that was awesome. Be careful with the funding and sending supplies.. the authorities that are barely helping seem to despise normal people bringing supplies and money. They want to take control of it!

When fishing for perch the main go to bait is minnows. They love it. Other baits are night crawlers. I like to use the Rapala CD3 (count down 3 seconds ) which is also great. Mepps spinner bait with a silver blade and white twister tail jigs with a yellow jighead is also good.

Sarah, that was an epic day all the way around, fishing, 4 wheelers, mx bikes, and not to mention what looked to be great food. Great content on your vids, get home safe with the girls. If your driving, check for open routes when you get near Tenn and Carolinas, its a disaster area. Central and NW Fl got demolished, especially near Steinhatchee which pretty much got leveled. Always look forward to yours and DMFD vids.
