Moral of the story: there is someone in your family, son brother, nephew, friend. Says he needs help mental and y’all don’t get him help and he results to horrific behavior, then blame is on the family. The father screamed at him saying, “whats wrong with you?” Showed you many signs before that I needed help, you did nothing. The mother see your son drinking vegetables oil and a bunch of cheese, you tell he to stop, you did nothing. The sister walking along side of him and he test his immortality, she told him he needs help, but also tells no one about what he just did. The friend, who showed the most concern for him, actually sad down with him and made sure he wasn’t gonna do anything stupid to hurt himself or anybody else. Still no help was given tho. Apparently you all live in a very wealthy city but chose not to act on it. I would’ve hope they could be at some fault for what they didn’t do.

I think that per usual, the mental health system dropped the damn ball. His family could only do but so much. We don't know how many times they tried to send him to the hospital. It could've been alot. What I don't understand is why the sister didn't say, "hey, Austin just tried to run out into the street, we should get him to a hospital." I don't understand why his mother brought him back to the restaurant. Maybe they could've saved those people's lives by dealing with what was going on with him that particular day. He knew his mental health was declining. He told them something was wrong. He needed help and everyone in his life, including the hospital, FAILED him. I'm sure that he's extremely disturbed by his own actions. He has to live with what he did. This was very disturbing.
@oki__ Жыл бұрын
I don’t understand how you could watch a friend let alone your own son or brother continuously act like this and not be worried enough to do something about it. Especially when he was agreeing and receptive to getting help. You can’t yell at someone for acting a way, have them apologise and say they need help and be surprised when they continue to deteriorate after receiving no help. I also don’t understand how 1) people don’t think it’s clear he’s not lying about his psychosis & 2) the victims families wouldn’t want him to receive help so that he doesn’t do this to anyone else. These are the types of people who never think proactively and just selfishly IMO. I think anyone who says he should get the death penalty because he’s still a danger to society no matter what clearly have a very little understanding of mental health or what this situation even was & shouldn’t speak on it. Funny how people say they don’t know how people end up like this - look around at all the people surrounding this case & you’ll see how

Because children's cognitive development isn't fully matured that's why children will be upset about a break up.. with their parents since their brain has been conditioned to have both parents around.. some will recover and some will develop resentment depending on how he or she was raised if the parents were having drug issues, were narcs or had no morals the children pick up that habit.. Now there are cases where narcs have had totally normal children without any issues and vice versa.. However, some children are just born with that darkness in them. I might be wrong but it's something i learnt in psychology as a psych major.. but also by watching criminal minds and other shows that deal with the human cognitive

Now I think you shouldn't subject everyone based on your experiences. Just because you got over something doesn't mean everyone can. Each individual is different and they shouldn't be put in the same category. Or probably you forget that people are not the same as you??. Is like me saying to people who have lactose intolerance why they don't drink milk. Cuz it is good for you in my opinion and u should stop being a child. I can't say that cuz I realize that the people are different. Just because I can tolerate lactose doesn't mean everyone can. Same is with the divorce situation. Just cuz u got past to it doesn't mean everyone can and will deal with the situation as you did. Or how someone used to say. "The world doesn't revolves around only you, stop being selfish ''
@youreinvalid8493 Жыл бұрын
How are you going to compare literally having a medical intolerance to something to divorce? They're not comparable. Dee is right in this situation, unless the child is very young or for some reason unable to grasp the concept. One you are in a situation to understand the idea of a divorce and why it happens, you shouldn't be angry or all angsty about it. It DOES come off very selfish, it's basically ignoring the fact that both of your parents are humans who feel things too, you want them to stay together unhappily just so you can say your parents aren't divorced? There's no world where that doesn't sound selfish to me. If both of your parents will still be in your life, there's no reason it should be turned into a big deal. the mental and the spiritual go hand in hand. tf are you talking about "miss me with the mental health bs'? mental health IS spiritual health, just like physical. they're all connected. know wtf you're talking about before you talk

Imagine thinking that a divorce is a normal thing. I feel like I need to remind y'all divorce should be in worse case scenarios, marriage isn't something to be taken so lightly y'all are heading towards a wall I promise

@@Lavenderskullz i actually took A Level Psychology and got an A, and dropped the subject before going to uni because it was complete garbage..... A lot of mental illness is rooted in a lack of attention and low self esteem. Psychotic outbreak or not, the bottom line was he was looking for attention. Even on his notes, he talked about "the pursuit of happiness" and his inability to achieve that despite his good upbringings. He even said he has very few things to be sad or depressed over in his journal, this was all prior to going uni and making a habit of taking drugs.... even world known serial killers were all just someone who deeply wanted attention... On the day of his attack he did it methodically, to the point he even asked the officer to kill him in the end.

@@vibez.no.cartel So he decided to eat a man's face bc he needed attention? You might be crazy too cuz that doesn't make any sense lol.

@@wedontagelikemilktho.7839 i never said he wasn't crazy, i said he was looking for attention. which he was. People have done a lot worst for attention. didn't you see me say almost every infamous serial killer was an attention seeker. they were and he is too. i hate how mental illness is used to justify homicide, because at the root of it all they ARE ATTENTION SEEKERS. get over it.
