We have all of those things except Jolly Ranchers and Chester's Hot Fries here in the UK, and the UK does hard candy sweets probably a lot more than the US even so it wouldn't be a new experience for British kids.

I feel like this just made me realize that I don't really eat snacks either. the only snacks that I fr eat are doritos and candy. but those different crackers and oreos/chips ahoy, I don't eat anything down those aisles. I do food delivery and I dont see people order rootbeer either. Except we have an A&W drive in eatery that you can also eat in the restaurant. They serve rootbeer from tap. People order their rootbeer. They also like to order them with icecream to make rootbeer floats. I dont like rootbeer and adding it to icecream is gross. Ive had it when I was young and I can remember the taste. Never again.

The snacks and food that the rest of the world sees as the representation of America may not be what the everyday American eats, it’s just what Hollywood has shown us for decades lol. Like I see a Twinkie as a quintessential American snack but none of my American friends eat it or even like it. Same as say a Dr. Pepper or Bud light beer…they’re quintessentially American but none of my American friends like them or consume them like ever.

Most of the crazy stuff you see online has never been eaten even once by most young Brits. I'd even argue that on a daily basis, a lot of Brits eat some kind of food from a different country or at least an adapted version of it (especially Italian food).
