Reason why Emraan Hashmi had banger songs in his movies is his uncle Mahesh Bhatt. Most of the movies he used to work in were produced by Bhatt camp only and Mahesh Bhatt emphasised a bit too much on good music for his movies plus Bhatt’s own understanding of music is also top notch. So all the music we used to get from his movies was the result of the inputs he used to give to the music composers during the process of composition.

Check out Javed Ali's song Ekdin Teri Raahon Mein from the movie Naqab starring Akshaye Khanna in the lead. In that song you can actually see Javed Ali's range(he can go very high).
