In free you have cruise control which does amazing things custom wise. Set a direction like up and diagonally very soft and slow and press c1 and it will continue going up and diagonal(or any direction) at the speed you were going when you pressed it. It's most amazing I think

Thanks so much buddy, this was very very helpful to understand more about each mode without having to understand too much on the go while flying (especially when you have a limited time for the shot). Now I need to learn how to get the raw photos to edit the hyperlapse in a finer way. So far, the drone synthesised every hyperlapse which is cool but not what I'm trying to achieve.

Free mode has one really useful application, which is just sitting in one place and making a timelapse, e.g., a sunset or sunrise, much the same way you might put an SLR on a stick to do the same. I agree that flying in free mode looks awful so the very easy solution to that is " just don't fly around". Ironically the best thing that Free mode does is to just sit in one place.

Free fly is very useful. Start flying then set cruise control with the c1 button then rotate three drone around
@1xraydoc5 жыл бұрын
Kinda hard on Free Mode...lol........At 3:14 in your video you can see the option to put the drone in "cruise control" by hitting C1 or C2. That way you don't have fly it manually.... it keeps it going in the same direction/speed/altitude that you set. I'm sure you figured that out by now but if not try it. Great Channel!..... I've learned a lot about flying from your videos. Keep it up.. Thanks!

I enjoyed your video, Dylan, as usual easy to follow. Two questions. Like Quickshots is it only shot @ 29 fps or does your frame rate setting determine the frame rate for your hyperlapse video? Can hyperlapse be selected to be in 4K ?

Hi there. I have a question I noticed you put video length for seconds that basically means in four seconds it’s going to show you the entire hyper laps is what that basically means.? So if I was to set the hyper laps for 10 seconds it would show me the total of 10 seconds video of the entire hyper laps. Just making sure I understand I’m very new to this. Awesome video and thank you so much for the tutorial I will be subscribing

Thanks for the vidéo. In the hyperlapse -> circle mode, if I want to make a dull circle [tm] or a given angle (say 180 degrees), I cannot figure out how to set the number of shots or time to get that. I cannot event compute it myself because I don't know the flight data (radius of the circle, speed...)

Good stuff. I/we appreciate your efforts. Your videos have accelerated my learning and use. Much better than reading and blind trial and error. Speaking of reading. Have you considered turning off your banner/notifications on your phone when shooting? I feel like Im seeing private info every time I watch one of your videos. And then Im reading your message instead of listening to you. Or thinking its a note you edited in. That I MUST read. You know. Shiny things. Squirrel !!! That was initially one of my concerns about the phone controller. Stuff popping up on my screen while Im trying to fly. Or getting a phone call and/or ....... But Ive learned about what thats like now as well. Glad I waited for the smart controller. So there you go. Many lessons and much learning. Seriously though. Thanks. And keep em coming. With or without the banner pop ups.

How do you record the monitor screen while flying the Mavic 2 Pro? I would like to watch the flight screen info back on video, is this possible? If so, would you know how to set this up or where to find it if it’s already doing this? Thank you very much.

Before purchasing a new Mavic 2 Pro or Zoom, I am wondering if TapFly would guide a drone to the top of a mountain with a single tap, assuming I tapped just above the top of the mountain on the viewing screen. I can see the tower at the top of the mountain. It is about a mile from my house and about 800 ft. higher in altitude as compared with where I live on the side of the mountain. I wonder too if Waypoints would work, then the drone could fly back home as programmed.

I'm willing to do a MegaHyperlapse and want to fly between two waypoints, which are 10kms apart. Now, I have one take on this, since the battery will not let me fly 20kms on a single charge...
