I never understood why Henry Rollins, a punk and alternative metal vocalist, was featured in a video game starring rappers street fighting each other but I’m not complaining.

Well, because the game is about street fights and earning respect, how do you make a game with those characteristics without the vocalist who, if he sees that ten people are hitting you, goes and knocks everyone out, saving your life and earning all your respect? For that and because Henry always had a Rap metal style long before it was called that way. In addition to the fact that in the game he is a martial arts trainer, obviously you are going to put the most badass musician of the time as the guy who will best teach you how to kick ass

I mean, it's weird...until you remember that Henry Rollins is the angriest man in punk, and it isn't close. Like, the amount of barbs he's thrown to various groups over the years without ever giving so much as a fuck and then you realize that it's a perfect addition.

Kickboxing in itself is a martial art but it in this game it’s not the style that consists of the jump wall kicked k.o. Since the Thai clinch move will knock you out.

I think martial arts is based on Kung Fu which is Chinese martial arts however it is based more on the martial arts films. Wrestling is similar based on professional wrestling rather than amature.

@@prestigeworldwide5682 Anything style of fighting can be considered a martial art. Also mixed martial art isn't an exact martial art it is a sport which incorporates many different martial arts. The mainly used ones are Boxing, kickboxing, Muy thai, wrestling, judo, and ju-jitsu but there are other styles used such as wing chun- and tae kwon do. Also i feel it's important for me to state the difference between boxing kickboxing and muy thai. For the most part the three are the same but have restrictions on what can be used. Boxing of course only allows punches no elbows no kicks break on clinch, kickboxing is boxing with kicks low strikes are prohibited no elbow strikes and break on clinch, and muy thai aka thai boxing is the no holds barred ghetto boxing elbow strikes low strikes punches kicks and clinch are all allowed.

i remember back when i play this on ps2, when i finished the game (including all bonus fight and fighting with d mob), you get one more slot to your fighting style, means that you can have 4 fighting style like rollins, mine was Martial Arts, Submission, Kickboxing, And last is Street Fighting,it really makes your character op as fuck

@Grym This game was rushed. They even had to ditch the 'Online Mode' due to time constraint. 1 year is not enough to make a well-polished game but they managed to pull this off.

@Grym Nah, I'm just saying that since this game was rushed, a lot of cool contents got cut off. That's it. A rushed game is usually a bad game but this is an exception. I actually like to play created character with 4 styles. I don' really bother if that would make the game unbalanced because this game is already heavily unbalanced even without it.

@ゆみす魔王 I know what you mean, apparently 50 cent was supposed to be in this game to replace DMX. There's an official cheat to unlock him but it doesn't work. I think they removed it from the engine file last minute. That "Teck" guy was supposed to be 50 Cent/DMX hence why the referred to him as an outsider a heavy hitter from Baltimore since that's where DMX is from. The bulletproof best he wore was a dead give away that it was also supposed to be 50. Strange huh?
