"Photograph" is by far the most musically mature and harmonically sophisticated track on the Pyromania album. This song foreshadowed the late 80's "Hysteria" version of Def Leppard, while still retaining the raw energy and power of the early days of the band. @@timothyhungate8123 Yeah me too. I do try really hard to not to be a typical old geezer moaning about "the good old days". But back then we still lived at a vaguely human pace, had more time and space to process and share in things. Now everything happens at warp speed, everyone's a cynic and we've all got our guard up. I do genuinely believe we had it better than kids today tbh.

As this song fades out at the end, so does every memory of future love. Thank you Joe Elliott, Steve Clark, Rick Savage, Phil Collen, Rick Allen, and Mutt Lange for this eternal masterpiece.

Such simple lyrics I've been rocking out to since 1983 and yet I've always felt like I missed 75% of them until I finally looked it up today. Turns out there's little more than I thought. A dude creeping on a pin up girl. Great song.

Spring 1983 in San Clemente, Ca surfing all morning and heading up to the campsite to warm up by the fire pit with this masterpiece playing full blast. Everytime I hear any song off Pyro, but especially this one, I can remember the overcast air and the scent of the burning wood as if I am right there again.

I entered 1980 at age 13 and left the 80s at age 23. I feasted on the rock, hard rock and hair metal bands of that era with Def Leppard among my all time favorites. Every generation has their music but I'm biased in believing my generation had the greatest music because of the 80s. Carpe Diem fellow rockers and metal up!
