"Photograph" is by far the most musically mature and harmonically sophisticated track on the Pyromania album. This song foreshadowed the late 80's "Hysteria" version of Def Leppard, while still retaining the raw energy and power of the early days of the band. This is the best damn song Def Leppard ever recorded. All Hail Producer Mutt Lange!

The song aged so well. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Not saying rock is dead, though.

The vocal harmonic work is just so fulfilling. It’s a magic potion is this day and age of endorphin-based entertainment.

Uncle Doobius That's SO accurate. The song is dexterously melodious and takes you on this undulating rockin' journey. It simply soars. Superb.

I remember listening to this tape again and again on a trip from Zurich to Munich by train in 1984 - my mates must have thought i had gone mad - the good old times. Now I'm happy when I can get up in the morning without any pain in my old bones...
