Great review. I love the side-by-side comparisons between Defa Lucy's heads (Collector vs. Toyline). While I agree we can see a little bit of other brands within Defa Lucy's brand, I think the new collector line looks very like her own. The only thing she needed was a better body and shoes. However, as a new doll line, I am very intrigued by the future of this doll.

A lot of folks comparing her to IT, but I feel like it's a dead-on copy of JHD's Anna May sculpt. My favorite, for sure! I was thrilled to get the RnD exclusive, but I passed on the blonde that was up for order (and immediately sold out) this week. Waiting to see what's next for this new chapter of Defa Lucy! Would definitely like to see a more shapely body. They could copy more of JHD to get that. haha

Not bad at all. I like the sculpt, though her neck looks short. I like the jacket. I like the zipper detail on the bodysuit, but I don't trust that black not to stain. She's in black cuz she shady. First she came for Barbie, now Mizi and IT.

I’m still waiting for mine, I am glad you showed the side by side comparison as I still haven’t gotten my hands on any of the originals. I love her face and hair, but agree the body could have been better. Even making the hands removable would have made a difference. All in all, glad I was able to get her as she’s the first one and so limited.

They are definitely going for an integrity toys knockoff doll. I would still pay the integrity price over this price for a Knockoff. But if the clothes are good quality I would consider them for my older barbies.😊
